Home description
The villa is on the edge of the village of St Nazaire in an area of vineyards and orchards. It is a short walk or drive to Somail which is on the Canal du Midi with restauants boating etc. There is safe river swimming with a permanent life guard in the summer about 15 mins drive away. There is a lake suitable for swimming and boating which has a restaurant at Homps about 15 mins drive away, this also has a Life Guard in the High Season We are about 20 mins from the 15 klms of sandy Mediternnean beaches

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Aude region
We are situated very near to the Canal du Midi and 8 klm from Narbonne about 20 mins from the Mediterranean. There are exhibitions, local markets and fetes,Cathar Castles, Rennes le Chateau, Minerve and many interesting site connected with the Knights Templars. The stunning gorges of Galmus and the Tarn ,there are countless wine caves in the Minerve and Corbieres area to visit and the Spanish Border and the Pyrenees is only about 1 hour away
St Nazaire d'Aude area
St Nazaire is a small village with Post Office,bakery,newsagent and Mini Market but there is a large Supermarket very near.Narbonne is a Cathedral city with many restaurants, theatre, Swimming, ice rink. The Canal du Midi runs through the centre and there is a market twice a week and a stunning food market. The town has many Roman remains and museums. Carcassonne probably the best and most impressive medievalfortress city in the world is about 40 mins drive away.

Further details outdoors: There is a large patio door leading to a barbecue area and patio with garden funiture.Another larger private patio is to the side of the house with a pargoda and safe pool for children with its own changing room, shower and toilet . There is a large courtyard in front of the house with parking for 3 -4 cars, all this is enclosed by a wall and secure gate. The house is not overlook by other buildings

There is easy access to the apartment for wheelchairs. Swimming pool available from May to end of September ( longer if weather permits). Bicycles can be hired in the next village.
Conditions
We cannot accept pets. A refundable deposit of 150 euros, 200 euros if the party is over 6 people, is required for damage or breakages. The deposit will be returned within 14 days of your date of departure, in Sterling at the going rate of the day. Electricty is by meter reading on arrival and departure. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE PROPERTY.
