Bay View is a beautifully appointed property set on Forth St in St Monans with sunning seaviews from the upper windows. Set over 3 stories this generously propertioned house is a fabulous holiday home. A traditional 3 storey terraced fisherman's house located within the conservation area of the picturesque village of St Monans, Fife Scotland. With the glorious St Monans harbour on your doorstep a perfect place from which to explore the Fife coastline and St Andrews.

Bayview is a luxury 3 storey holiday home which has been tastefully furnished to a high standard and enjoys luxury seaviews from the upper floors. Built around 1840 the house was renovated and refurbished in 2006 with the aim of providing comfortable and luxurious holiday accommodation, somewhere for guests to relax and unwind. Wifi is installed in the house.

On arrival at Bay View there is on road parking and steps up to the front door. On entering the property there is a wide hallway which leads directly through to the back door and the rear courtyard. With garden furniture, this is a good place to start and end the day.

On the ground floor are located 2 double bedrooms, one twin and one double. The largest is a bright front facing bedroom with twin beds. The other bedroom is to the rear and has a double bed. Both rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. The stairs lead to a mezzanine level and the cloakroom with whb and wc.

The first floor hosts the wonderful and well equipped dining kitchen. There is a dining table and chairs for up to 6 guests. There is a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine, cafetiere, iron/ ironing board.

The spacious family bathroom is also located on the 1st floor. This is a great relaxing room with a large stand alone roll top bath, large separate walk in shower enclosure, heated towel, wc and vanity unit. A perfect place to unwind after a long day walking or golfing.

The upper floor hosts the master bedroom with kingsize bed and sitting room. The sitting room has a wonderful picture window with views across the Forth taking in the Bass Rock, Berwick Law and the East Lothian Coast. There are two leather sofas and some occasional chairs as well as a window seat. There is a SONY flat screen LCD TC with free view, a new DVD player has been installed for 2015. The house is well stocked with books and games.

The Fife region

St Monans

The East Neuk village of St Monans is steeped in history and contains all the facilities you could hope for in a small village. There are 2 general stores, a Post Office, cafe and the Blue Pier smokehouse, fish merchants and the Mayview bar and restaurant. There is the award winning seafood restaurant, Craig Millers which has to be visited and sampled.

The coastal path in either direction is fabulous and South takes you to Elie and North to Pittenweem and beyond. The village is surrounded by World class Golf Courses and beaches with St Andrews only 20 minutes away by car.

"Lovely St Monans house"

We had a fantastic stay in St Monans. The house was lovely and surpassed our expectations. We had a problem with the tv on the first day, but that was fixed within a few hours. The kitchen was lovely, a real family hub and a nice place to cook, chat and look out to sea. Living room was very relaxed too.
