“Scottish sea air to revive your spirits”

5 of 5 starsReviewed May 11, 2014 for a stay in April 2013

Being able to open a bedroom window, see, hear, and smell the sea while lying comfyily tucked up in a cosy duvet is nearly all I need on a vacation. This house is set in elemental scottish surroundings and is perfect for long coastal walks. After which it's then time to cosy up and sit for hours reading or simply just meditate and watch the sea. All mod cons makes it perfect for cook ins but there is an amazing fish restaurant 60 seconds away. Love it. more

2ND REVIEW

I have had the good fortune to visit the Deck House, twice. It is an enchanted place. Light and airy, yet cozy & secluded, with all the modern conveniences you seek. This is the perfect hideaway for escaping crowds, wandering breezy coastal trails, exploring charming villages or contemplating the ocean view between pages of a good book. While you are there, do take a walk to the Pittenweem Chocolate Company. Ask for the chocolate chip scone, with clotted cream. It's sinfully delicious! I will definitely be coming back to the Deck House soon…..

"fantastic location and scenery"

The Deck House is magnificently located overlooking a small inlet which you feel is yours. The house has all amenities required for your stay. On arrival we were able to watch dolphins from the deck.
The gate to the fife coastal path was well used as we walked to Elie one day and Anstruther the next. Lovely lunch at the East Shore smokehouse and dinner at the Mayfield Hotel. Ideal base for the seeeing the East Neuk of Fife

Many thanks for your wonderful review, you left the house immaculate and you would be welcome back anytime.
