Casa Isla Blanca is a contemporary open plan style 2 bedroom (both en-suite), house with shared pool and gardens located just outside the picturesque town of Sant Miquel de Balasant in the North of Ibiza.

The house is ideal for a family or couple looking to enjoy the rural beauty of this incredible island. The house is situated only a couple of minutes drive from the town of St. Miguel , and only a short drive from many of Ibiza's best beaches, including the blue waters Port St. Miguel and Benniras.

The house is perfect as a base to discover the island of Ibiza, and for the more adventurous a rugged pathway leads from the house to the stunning secluded Portixol beach which is a snorkeling paradise.

Whether you are looking for a quiet location for a relaxed beach holiday, night life or an action packed adventure, Ibiza provides it all, from scuba diving to sailing lessons to coastal and inland walks, golf to gastronomy or simply a beautiful beach with a good book!

The Ibiza region

Ibiza is a beautiful small mostly rural and pine covered Island with a very relaxed pace of life and outlook. This amazing island boasts incredibly pretty country side as well as the most idyllic coves and beaches. Ibiza is located in the Mediterranean Sea about 80 km off the coast of Spain. It is the third largest of the Balearic Islands. Its largest town and capital is Ibiza Town.

The island of Ibiza is well known for it's A list celebrity visitors who have been coming here since the 1960's for its unspoilt beauty, bohemian atmosphere and hedonistic night life. The south of the Island around the town of St. Antonio is the centre for the Islands famous night life scene, Including the infamous Cafe Del Mar.

The north of the Island and the area surrounding Casa Isla Blanca, is stunningly beautiful. This is where the wealthy and middle class mainlanders keep their summer bolt holes. It´s an area of complete peace and tranquility, surrounded by pine forrest, fantastic coves and beaches. Yet still for those wishing to seek the nightlife of Cafe Del Mar, Pacha etc, are only around 35 minutes drive away.


St Miguel area

Casa Isla Blanca is situated, only a few minutes drive from the nearest town of St. Miguel De Balasant. St. Miguel is a pretty little town built below a white washed church of the same name set, here you will find all the local amenities you will probably require, including groceries, restaurants, bars and little artisan shops.

The slightly more lively town of St. Gertrudis is only a little further (10 mins) and there you will find more charming restaurants and its renowned antique shops where the islands bohemians would traditionally sell there wears, having bought them throughout the world but particularly India and the Far East during their winter travels. There are local markets most days on the Island which are fairly easily accessible, because remember Ibiza is a fairly small Island and you can drive from one end to the other about 30 - 40 minutes depending on traffic.

Casa Isla Blanca is within 5 - 15 minutes drive of countless beautiful coves and beaches. Many of those coves also boasting one of Ibiza's array of incredible fish restaurants, fantastic for a slow easy lunch or very romantic at night with a moonlight stroll on the beach

The Island of Ibiza is easily accessible from all over Europe, using many budget, scheduled airlines now flying directly to Ibiza Airport, including Ryanair, Easyjet, Spanair, Air Europa, Monarch, Jet2, Iberia. From further afield Barcelona is a excellent hub, being only 45mins flight away.

The Island can also be accessed by high speed and normal ferries departing from various ports along the East coast of Spain. Ferry services are more frequent during the high season summer months. The closest mainland port town is Denia, which offers two crossings per day by hydrofoil (two and a quarter hours to Ibiza Town) and two crossings per day by ferry (four and a half hours to San Antonio).

From Barcelona there are on average four ferry crossings per week, lasting around nine hours, and from Valencia there is one hydrofoil crossing every day, lasting three and a quarter hours. From Alicante there is a daily hydrofoil service to San Antonio, lasting approximately three hours.

The house is split over two floors, with the entrance hall, wet room (shower and wc) and open plan: Kitchen, dining and lounge areas on the ground floor which lead out onto a terraced area perfect for 'Al fresco' dining with beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding pine covered countryside.

The bedrooms are both en-suite and are located on the 1st floor, the master bedroom also has it´s own terrace with sea views.

The kitchen is fully equipped for everything required for those wishing to self cater.

For the cooler nights of early spring and late Autumn you can also curl up in front of the wood burning chimney in the lounge.
