Home description

The house merges Ibiza's charm with a very luxurious living experience.It boasts clean and modern lines,newly fitted modern fixtures and fittings throughout. The open plan living area opens out through a conservatory onto the terrace and pool with incredible views from every angle. A true merging of indoor/outdoor living that the climate allows in Ibiza!

The house offers easy access to all parts of Ibiza due to its position near to the fast Saint Miguel road but at the same time offers a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the island in the summer.

There are breathtaking walks from the house.Can Izena sits 180 meters above sea level on a 2 kilometre stretch of coast amid a Mediterranean pine wood. The area, in the North East of the island of Ibiza, is one of the last unspoilt ecological environments on the European map, and is at the heart of a nature reserve home to some exceptional flora and fauna.

The Ibiza region

Ibiza has a reputation as a party island, but there is much more to Ibiza than its excellent nightclubs.

The island is the closest of all the Balearic islands to mainland Spain and has a 200 km / 125 mile coastline, with many small coves and over 50 stunning beaches.

Delicious food and wine, award winning restaurants and fantastic beaches make it a great holiday destination for the discerning holiday maker.


St Miguel / Na Xamena area

The house is situated 5 km away from St Miguel, a pretty little town with all local amenities. It has a beautiful old church poised on top of a hill.

The nearest beach is Benirras, a very popular sweep of golden sand, used in many films as a set, there are fantastic seafood restaurants - a fantastic place to watch the cun dipping into the sea, glass of rose or beer in hand!

The house boasts 5 double bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, 4 of the bathrooms en-suite. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi make it a truly modern experience. The pool has a jet to allow the keen swimmers to do lengths without moving!

The kitchen is fully equipped. It has two coffee makers and all the cutlery and crockery one would expect in a properly stocked kitchen.

There are 4 breakfast bar stools, separating the kitchen area from the living room. The living room flows into the conservatory and indoor eating area which in turn flows out onto the terrace,pool and indoor eating area.

The feel is one of merging of indoor and outdoor spaces as sliding glass doors can be pulled right back

Further details outdoors:
There are two terraces, one housing the pool, and one above. they both have incredible views over the island and the sea.

To the side of the house there is a shaded bench under some large trees which is a lovely place to hide from the heat of the midday sun!

Three of the bedrooms have their own terraces to sit on.
There are luxurious wooden sun loungers positioned by the pool.

There is a sail shade creating shade to hang out under on the terrace when the sun gets too hot.
There is an outdoor teak dining table with 10 teak dining chairs,one can eat dinner looking over the mountains glowing pink in the sunset!

The house is both a great place for nature lovers and allows easy access to the party life of Ibiza too!!


Further details

An English lady manages the house for me on the island so she is at hand if necessary. She lives very close and can be at the house within minutes. She can also organise childcare/car hire etc.
Anne would make sure you found the house and fill you in on any information about the area you might want.

The local town, St Miguel has a supermarket/pharmacy/cash point/restaurants and cafes.

The rental price includes cleaning twice a week and pool cleaning twice a week. Extra cleaning and childcare/babysitting (English nanny) can be arranged at extra cost.


Conditions

1000euro damage deposit payable to be refunded within two weeks of your departure after inventory check carried out.

25% of final total rent to be paid 6 weeks in advance.

Smoking allowed but not in bedrooms.
