This recently refurbished Chalet has been modernised to a high standard and rated as a 4 sun chalet on the park, situated within 27 acres of peaceful parkland, on a very well family run site, The Atlantic Bays Holiday Park. On site is a Reception area, a Shop, Conservatory Clubhouse & children's play area. Ideally located and close to all the seven bays, this site is only 1 mile away from St Merryn village, providing shops, restaurants, a garage, bakers, a famous fish & chip shop, tea rooms, & a couple of pubs that serve great food, The Farmers Arms and The Cornish Arms ( The Cornish Arms is run by Rick Stein.) It even has a beauty salon. The A39 is only 5 - 10 mins drive away, the A30 not much further, great roads for exploring the rest of Cornwall. There is a newly opened Coarse Fishery and Golf courses close by. Go- karting at St Eval and of course located approx 3 miles away is the historic town of Padstow, with plenty of Shops, places to eat, that cater for all budgets. Boat rides and sea fishing trips, a ferry that runs across the estuary to Rock on a regular basis, where there are more places to eat, or to just explore.The site is situated within the 7 bays area, Harlyn bay is the nearest, within 2 miles, great for surfing or rock pooling, there is also a Surf School at Harlyn. Also situated close by are the baysTreyarnon, Mother Ivys, Trevone, Boobys, Constantine & Porthcothan.

This chalet has everything you should need, with its open plan layout, its good internal decoration, spacious living with plenty of natural light and good quality furnishings throughout, giving you a high standard of comfort during your stay. There is heating in every room, recessed lighting with newly plastered ceilings and walls and wood flooring mainly throughout. This chalet is bigger and more luxurious than most on the site, including the bedrooms.The lounge area has a good quality corner group, footstool, feature wall fire, storage cabinet, tv unit with freeview television, dvd & cd player,opposite is a glass dining table with four leather chairs located next to the french doors opening onto the decking.The Bathroom does have a full sized bath & a power shower and has a nautical themed wood and tiled area throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven & hob, kettle, toaster, a George Foreman Grill, ample crockery, glasses & cutlery. Bedroom 1 has a new double bed, wardrobe & chest of drawers, bedroom 2 has 2 single beds with new mattresses and has a wardrobe & chest of drawers, both bedrooms are bigger than most on the park, giving you extra living space for you and your family.

The decking area outside the chalet has a picnic table. On summer evenings you can dine and relax on the decking with ample light if you decide to choose to eat or drink outside. Barbecues are not permitted outside the chalet due to fire regulations, but there is a Barbecue area set within the park. There is ample secure parking close by, and plenty of grassland where children can play safely. Opposite the shop there is also a playing field.The speed limit is only 5mph, rest assured that children can play or cycle safely around the chalet, site area.
The weekly changeover is usually every Saturday, the changeover day can be changed to a friday on some weeks, please ask for further details. You can enter the chalet anytime after 3pm on the day of your arrival, on the day of your departure no later than 10am.The site do not allow pets on the chalet park, no single groups are permitted to stay on the site due to site rules sorry, couples and families only. The chalet is Non smoking only.There is a red information folder in the chalet for appliances, bus time tables etc, but if you do need any further help, there is always someone on site, the owners of the site are very friendly if you require any help, or contact myself at anytime.
The Cornwall region
What ever time of year you wish to visit Cornwall there is always plenty to do. Cornwall is most popular for it's beautiful sandy beaches. You can enjoy countryside or rugged cliff top walks, cycling, surfing, fishing. There are many golf courses, and there is also alot more activities for both children and adults.
Cornwall has much to offer the visitor with the sea having played a pivotal role in shaping the County's history and culture, Falmouth one of the deepest natural Harbours in the world has long since been a centre for all types of shipping and now boasts the National Maritime Museum, a myriad of Marinas, moorings and a busy Dockyard.
Newquay boasts the blue reef aquarium, this allows you to have a close look at the marine life including sharks. The website for the aquarium is www.bluereefaquarium.co.uk As the UKs surfing capital, Newquay boasts some of the best waves in the country. For families, the sheltered beaches of Towan, Great Western and Tolcarne offer a wide range of facilities and are all situated close to the town centre. Crantock beach stretches for more than a mile in length and the golden sands are backed by sand dunes that offer hollows which are ideal for a little privacy. Other beaches include Porth, Mawgan Porth, Lusty Glaze, Crantock, Watergate Bay and Fistral, which is considered to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country.

Port Issac has picturesque scenery as featured on the television programme "Doc Martin" and nearby Tintagel where the historic remains of King Arthurs Castle can be found along with many more attractions. Futher along the north coast you will find Boscastle with its Elizabethan harbour.
The fishing town of Padstow (ancient name "Petrockstow") is a charming fishing town that has advantage of being about a half mile inland of open sea and is well sheltered in the mouth of the camel estuary. Due to Padstows location it has many different coves and bays that can be visited with ease.
Padstow has its fair share of shops bars and restaurants including Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant all of which can cater for all budgets. If you like fishing, sailing or boating then this is the area to be in. There is a ferry that runs across the estuary to Rock where you can visit the famous church of St Enodoc this was originally build in 1430 and is situated on the 10th fairway of St Enodoc Golf Course the church was buried underneath the sand dunes for a long time and was renovated in 1853 - 1864 the former poet Sir John Benjamin is burried here his slate headstone marks his grave.
Nearby St Merryn village, lies on a busy crossroads and has plenty of Bars, Restaurants and shops. The nearby church is a mixture of Norman and 15th century this is situated opposite the cornish Arms Public House.
St Merryn is renowned for being in the area of the Seven Bays for Seven Days, the bays are Porthcothan, Treyanrnon, Constantine, Boobys, Harlyn, Mother Ivys and Trevone bay.
