The Lungau region is a relatively unknown area of Austria with quaint traditional villages, beautiful scenery and homely gasthofs, where delicious local fare is served by friendly hosts. 25 minute drive to Obertauern.
St Margarethen area
St Margarethen lies on the edge of the Mur Valley in a rural area of beautiful old farmhouses and lush pasture. Winter activities include down hill and cross country skiing, sleigh rides and ice skating. In Summer there are a variety of hill and valley walking trails, horse riding, tennis and swimming. An 18 hole golf course is within a 5 minute walk.
