This property has beautiful direct sea views and is finished to a very high specification throughout. If unobstructed sea views are important then its really the place for you. Additionally the apartment is an ideal base from which to explore the numerous attractions of the local area.

The stunning sea views and feeling of space and comfort from within the apartment make it a pleasant place to while away the time, the beach is only 20 meters away... and there's a stunning array of historic, cultural and contemporary attractions nearby.

The lounge has comfortable seating for several people on a large corner couch. There is a 50" flat screen TV with all the normal Free-Sat channels. There are CD and DVD players available.

The sleeping accommodation is arranged through two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with en-suite shower room and toilet. The second bedroom has a triple sleeper bunk bed, (double on the bottom, single on the top), and convenient access to the second shower room and toilet.

For dinning there is comfortable seating for 5… all with direct sea views. For catering the kitchen is fully equipped with a four-ring gas hob with extractor fan, double electric oven, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, blender and a variety of saucepans. For cleaning there is a Bosch dishwasher, washing machine and a mini Dyson vacuum cleaner.

Two toilets and shower rooms provide adequate facilities for larger groups. There is no bath at this property, although the two shower rooms have luxurious fittings and are finished to a high standard.

Further details

The apartment is on the second floor and so requires climbing three flights of stairs. There is no lift. The staircase is wide and gentle, and fine for most people. However if you struggle with stairs then this may not be the property for you.

Also, for safety, since this is a second floor apartment... there are window locks on all windows. For adult groups these can easily be removed so you can enjoy the full (and sometimes quite powerful) sea breeze. However by default you will begin your stay with them engaged, which restricts the opening to a maximum of about 4 inches or 10 centimetres. This is to enure the apartment is safe for smaller members of the family...

There are plenty of public car parking options available on the road outside, or in the surrounding area.

Hastings - Best known for the Battle of Hastings in 1066, and having the largest beach drawn fishing fleet in the UK.

The area is surrounded by the beautiful East Sussex countryside, with its numerous vine yards, walk and cosey country pubs.

St Leonards on Sea

Description of Hastings: Lots of galleries, restaurants and for children, there's the seaside, fairground, crazy golf, sea life center, smugglers cave etc.

Clambers in and outdoor Total Child Experience, Smugglers Caves and of course, our wonderful beach.

"Lovely period flat for couples"

We had a lovely week here over Easter. The master bedroom is enormous and the sea views stunning. Most suitable for couples, as no bath and quite small dining area. The flat is a half hour walk from the sights of the Old Town in Hastings and faces a very quiet stretch of beach. The main road is noisy but not an issue for those in master bedroom. Other residents extremely friendly. Leyla met us with the keys on arrival and was so helfpful and lovely. She really made us feel at home. Thank you Leyla!

"Clean and cosy overlooking the park"

We stayed in Hastings for a weekend at Seaside Haven. Lovely spread of accomodation. Warm and cosy. Very important to be warm out of peak season. It was cleaned to a high standard. We were four adults in the party. We all had sufficient room. It has two bathrooms. Very useful if travelling with grown up children! Also had skyTV A real bonus. Excellent range of DVDs for adults and primary school children. A real home from home. Had everything we could want. Good value for a weekend vs B&B.

"A great place to recharge your batteries"

Our family (6 month old baby) wanted a quiet get away from the big city. We spent a lovely week here. The views of the sea from the couch and dining table are fantastic. Wifi and nice tv make for cozy evenings. Lovely kitchen makes for enjoyable meals. The place is nicely upgraded. Enjoyed the hot rain shower. Although it is on the main road, it is very quiet. The back bedroom is silent. We did not have a car. And apart from one taxi ride to the big grocery store, we walked, including into Hastings. There is board walk all the way. We liked it so much we booked it again.

"A wonderful surprise to walk into this fabulous apartment."

We spent an amazing week in Hastings and really enjoyed staying in this flat. It has got stunning sea views, as it is right at the promenade - the car traffic is steady but the waves crashing onto the beach are louder and drown out the car noise. It gets very quiet during the evenings and nights. The old city can be reached along the promenade, and easy 30 minutes’ walking distance to all cafes, restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. Parking can be a challenge in front of the flat, but there is a car park nearby that always has got spaces available. The flat has been recently renovated and has got a great style to it - very light and bright and with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and the two bathrooms. We cooked some yummy seafood dinners and were impressed with the kitchen being so well equipped. It definitely feels like home away from home the minute you walk through the door. Absolutely spotless and cosy. Fantastic space to read! We can highly recommend this place and are looking forward to staying again!"

"Long weekend in St Leonards"

My family recently enjoy a lovely long weekend staying at the Seaside Haven apartment in St Leonards-on-Sea. The apartment was very spacious with nice modern kitchen and over looked the St Leonards seafront, parking was available on the road outside and also a car park 2mins walk away. My 4 year daughter loved the double & single bunkbeds and made herself at home almost instantly when we arrived. We happened to stay on the hottest weekend in August, but the apartment was cool and was a welcome return on our trips out to Hastings and walks on the beach in St Leonards. We were surprised to discover some really nice restaurants in St Leonards and over the course of the weekend enjoyed two amazing meals. Check out Pier Nine & The Amazing Mamm Putt's African Caribbean resturants on tripadvisor. Not forgetting if fancy the most amazing coffee and cake one morning check out Little Larder!

"A Secret hideaway"

Myself and partner went away for a 3night break to this "secret hideaway". We had a wonderful time. The flat was very clean and felt like a breathe of fresh air. Very white painted walls and all the things you need to make for a stress free break away. The hallway and landing leading up to the flat is not at its best, but this just serves to capture the magic of the flat and the wonderful seaviews it affords. I would recommend this let, it is at the top end of the price range, but well worth it.
