Our caravan is a 3 bed Cosalt Cascade. There are two twin bed rooms, 1 double bed room and a pull out double bed in the lounge area. The fully equipped kitchen area has an open plan feel but it still includes lots of storage space, a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven, four gas rings, full size oven and grill (electric ignition), kettle and toaster.
In the lounge area is a powerful gas fire to keep the room warm on cold nights, a 26” flat screen television with integrated Freeview, a DVD player and a large seating area. Each of the bedrooms contains a wardrobe, storage draws and bed side tables. Each bedroom has an electric room heater. As well as a separate toilet, there is a second toilet in the shower room with a wash basin. The shower room also an electric room heater. The caravan is fitted with net curtains throughout. For those travelling with toddlers or babies we have a travel cot that we can put up for you free of charge in place of one of the twin beds. If you book through Haven and request a cot it will only fit in the lounge in most caravans.
The caravan is connected to mains gas so you do not have to worry about the gas cylinders running out in the middle of the night, gas is included in all bookings. Free mains electricity is also included in all bookings meaning there are no extra charges for metered electricity like on some parks.
Our caravan is located just a short distance from the main entertainment complex and is an easy walk away. The park is built on a hill but we are at the same level as the entertainment complex so you do not have to walk up a hill to get to the entertainment venues.
Our hire rates do not include passes to the Haven entertainment, sports and swimming pools as these are not required to staying in our caravan. This is so that we can offer every client the best possible rates by not including passes that you do not require. Passes are priced individually based on the number and ages of guests. There are capping limits for larger parties.
For the comfort of other guests staying in our caravan we request that guests do not smoke in the caravan (smoking is permitted on the patio) and we do not accept pets.

About this location
The East Sussex region
Hastings is on the South coast of England with its warm and sunny climate. Famous for the battle that actually took place in Battle (about 6 miles away) but still steeped in history Hastings is a great place to visit with things going on throughout the year.
St Leonards on Sea
In Hastings there is a Castle, Smugglers Adventure Caves, East and West Hill cliff railways, Aquarium, Fisherman's Museum, Shipwreck Heritage Centre and the popular Adventure Golf on the sea front (3 18-hole courses)
In near by Battle there is the Abbey. Also nearby is Bodiam Castle, Kent and East Sussex Steam Railway (why not make a day of it and take the steam train from Tenterden (free parking) to Bodiam Castle). The historic Town of Rye and the wonderful sandy beach at Camber Sands,
In Hastings there is always something going on. In May they have 'Jack in the Green' festival. In August there is 'Old Town Carnival week' and in October they have 'Hastings Week'.

"could thoroughly recommend Valley view 27"
Valley View 27 is a most comfortable, clean and spacious caravan on a large commercial site. The position must be one of the best with more space between caravans than on other parts of the site and higher than most others. There were very few other people on site so it was very quiet but as the caravan is at the end of a row I doubt there would be much noise from passing folk. The net curtains maintained privacy. There was a short walk from the car park.
Unfortunately the weather was very cold but there was adequate heating (gas fire and electric radiators) . As I was staying in the area to help my daughter I was away during the daytime.
There was everything a family would need for a break away. I think it would be quite 'cosy' for 8 people, maybe better for 6. The kitchen appeared to have everything you would need and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. There was also table and chairs outside which would be great in good weather.
The owner had regular contact with me from booking onwards telling me where the key safe was, how to turn the water and the gas heater on.
Hopefully I will return - but in better weather

"Fantastic time - lovely location"
I took this short break (3 nights) with my husband and 2 children (4 and 2).
We booked a private caravan to take away any potential nasty surprises that can happen when hiring directly through Haven. We were not disappointed. The caravan was immaculately clean, a great layout for young families, well equipped kitchen and the caravan itself was situated on a lovely quiet part of the park that was a level walk to the facilities but in a quiet location, so no passing late-night, noisy party-goers. We were also next to the sports field where my girls and husband loved to take a football for a kick around and a play on the basketball court.
The park itself had plenty of facilities to keep my girls entertained for our break. The Rory's Village play area was particularly popular. We visited Drusilla's park during our stay which I also highly recommed, although can work out very expensive. With hindsight I would have ordered tickets using Tesco clubcard vouchers if I'd had time.
All in all we had a fantastic time, the extra little personal touches in the caravan (flatscreen tv, dvd player, welcome pack of tea, coffee and milk and a box of board games) all made this a very enjoyable holiday and a pleasure to come back to the van each evening. We were even lucky enough to have warm weather in which to enjoy the seating on the patio next to the van and enjoy a glass of wine while looking out over the views. Bliss!
Would highly recommend.
