The location of 'le Moulin Giraud' is breathtaking, the river valley at this point is very beautiful, peaceful and insetting. A haven for wildlife you, can often see deer and red squirrels in the garden, or buzzards circling above.
Moulin Giraud is south facing and is stylishly decorated, and is very comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday.

The Limousin / Auvergne / Haute-Vienne region
Although very secluded, the property is located only 2km from medieval St Leonard du Noblat, nestling in the foothills of the massif central, with its 11c Romanesque church, picturesque streets with boutiques and cafes, bars and some fabulous restaurants.
The town is a tourist attraction in its own right and all guide books recommend a visit. Limoges is only a 18km away, which is a cosmopolitan city, and of course with its history of pottery production. There are swimming lakes nearby too. The region offers something for everyone, with numerous activities and places to visit.
St Leonard de Noblat area
St Leonard is a thriving medieval town, with lots of cafes, bars restaurants and shops. There are numerous events held there all year round and a list of all festivals will be provided. There is a traditional French market held every week which is well worth a visit.
There is one of the largest lakes in France lac Valsivere not far away with over 48km of shoreline and sandy beaches. Ideal for swimmers, anglers, hikers, water sport enthusiasts etc.
Lac Helene is even closer and that too attracts visitors and provides lots of activities.

There is everything you need to have a truly relaxing holiday, a real home from home!
Further details outdoors: Outdoors there are beautiful gardens with mature trees and river bank walks, all private! You have your own island, for picnics or fishing, complete with your own rowing boat!
The setting is very rare and is really some place special!
Situated in the gardens is a large inflatable pool 10x5 metres, perfect for swimming and cooling off.

Moulin Giraud I really is some place special, we held our wedding ceremony here in the gardens next to the river bank, it was a magical day, we held a large reception on the island, it was the best day of our lives.
