A lovely country location with a south facing garden which is sunny from morning to night. Great pride is taken in the 3 bedroom cottage to ensure it is clean and welcoming without being cluttered. Children are very welcome and its also ideal for people with mild mobility difficulties because the accommodation is all ground floor.

Lots of country walking options. A short drive takes you to some great amenities covering the fascinating history and culture of Jersey. Several great beaches within easy drive. No where is far because the whole island is only 9 miles by 5.

Arrivals are Saturday to Saturday in blocks of 7 days from end of March to end October

November to March any day arrival is possible on a minimum 7 day charge period basis

The property consists of:

3 Bedroom Cottage - Maximum 5 adults, 2 children (under 16 years), 1 infant.

The accommodation is entirely ground floor:

Hallway. Large lounge-diner with feature granite fire place, dining table and (6) chairs.

Kitchen with breakfast bar. 1 Double bedroom. 1 Twin bedroom.

1 Bedroom with double plus a single bed.

Bathroom with bath and additional shower cubicle.

We regret due to the stringent Jersey housing regulations it is not possible to accommodate 6 adults in the cottage

The Jersey region

Occasional villages provide a focal point for parish life. Even today you will still sometimes hear Jerriais (the original language of Jersey). Nowhere is far, the island is just 9 miles by 5.

The country parishes offer a pace that is suited to the breathtaking scenery with beautiful bays, cliff walks and open countryside. Jersey's award winning 'Green Lane' scheme is a network of country lanes where traffic speed is reduced to 15 miles per hour. This makes an ideal environment for walkers and cyclists. Many beaches have won international acclaim for their level of cleanliness both in and out of the water.

Jersey is proud of its diverse heritage, which is in evidence throughout the island. Gerald Durrell's world famous Wildlife Conservation Trust along with the islands unique flora and fauna are great attractions for those interested in nature. An abundance of excellent sport and water sport facilities exists to tempt - surfing, water skiing, sailboarding, jet ski, scuba diving, etc.

Jersey has a massive range of restaurants serving lots of local produce as well as fresh fish and different food styles from around the world as well as traditional British Fare. The fish market is a must-see in St Helier and a real experience. A delight if you enjoy cooking and lots of things to put on the barbecue too.

The Channel Islands are the only part of Britain to be occupied during the second world war and this is well documented at award winning venues throughout the island. You can visit the Ancient Mont orgueil castle where the atmosphere of times gone past have been recreated. Just 5 minutes walk from us is the Hamptonne Museum that shows farm life in Jersey as it was in the 17th Century. Its so authentic that filming took place here for a famous holywood movie (who's name I forget right now!)

For the younger at heart there is a lively nightlife in St Helier with lots of bars and clubs to dance the night away.

St. Lawrence

St Lawrence is a delightful country parish towards the south of the island. Predominantly the parish is farming and residential development. Lots of green lanes for walkers and cyclists.

"Quality with that 'home from home ' feeling."

Enterning the bungalow, into the hall and viewing the large lounge/ diner, the ambience of a much loved and cared for property immediately hits the viewer. Comfortable sofas, large sensible dining tab… More
