St Junien / St Cyr area
St Junien a beautiful market town famed for making gloves with a lovely selection of restaurants, bars and cafes. Enjoy the market on Saturday.
St Cyr is ideally situated for those who wish to explore Limoges and browse the range of shops or have lunch in one of its restaurants. Close to Rochechourart which offers both cultural stimulation and fine architecture you would expect from traditional France.
The wonderfully traditional Christmas Card village of Oradour Sur Glane is only a short distance away.
How to get there
Fly to limoge airport with Ryanair or Flybe from London Stansted, Southampton, East Midlands, Bristol, Liverpool. By Ferry from Dover to Calais or Boulogne approx 6.1/2 hours drive.
Limoges airport is only 20 mins away and is serviced by Ryanair and Flybe. Destinations include London Stansted, Southampton, Liverpool, Newcastle and Bristol. Taking the ferry from Dover to Calais Calais to Limoges is 6.5 to 7 hours drive. A car or car hire is recommended as the gite is in a very rural position.

Further details indoors: This large property sleeps up to 20 people very comfortably. Accommodation includes 9 en-suite bedrooms. 6 Doubles, one double with an extra single bed, one triple and one twin. In one of the 4 lounges there is a double bed settee for extra quests. Also we have two cots for babies.
There are two large back to back lounges and two smaller lounges. There are three separate satellite televisions DVD and CD players.
There are two large kitchens and dining rooms all fully equipped with built in ovens, hobs, microwaves, dishwashers, and washing machines. In addition two smaller kitchens fully equipped but without dishwashers.
The furnishing is to a very high standard. All bed linen and towels (including pool towels) are provided.
Further details outdoors: The exterior of the property boasts a heated pool set in mature gardens with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. Facilities beside the pool include shower and toilet, a summer kitchen with cooker sink and fridge plus a barbecue area.
There is also a boule pitch. In addition there are three small terraces around the house
