This self catering newly renovated stone barn is set in the tranquil and idyllic countryside in the Limousin, on the Richard the Lionheart Route. Just a few kilometres from the beautiful village of Segur le Chateau and 15 mins from the medieval town of St Yrieix La Perche famous for porcelain and markets. The gite will sleep 6-8 people plus a cot in 3 roomy bedrooms, one with mezzanine. A very large living room with sofa bed provides tv, dvd, a music centre, books and games. The fully equipped kitchen has a washing machine, microwave, full size cooker, fridge/freezer and dining area. There are two bathrooms at the property.
Outside, enjoy the large swimming pool, patio with bbq, play area and gym. There are excellent roads to property and parking next to gite. Gas, electricity, bedding and towels included. Welcome pack on arrival.

The Limousin / Auvergne / Correze region
Limousin has something to offer for everyone and the weather is hot but not too hot in summer. The area is very lush and wildlife prolific - especially the birds. The property is on the Richard the Lionheart route which covers all the chateax Richard encountered before his death. The area is ideal for walking or cycling but a car is essential to be able to visit the surrounding areas of interest.
St Julien le Venomois / La Croisille area
Situated in lovely countryside only 15 mins to motorway enabling easy access to Lac Vassiveire, Brive la Galliarde and many chateaux and rivers and lakes. Fishing available in the area and water sports on lakes nearby. Motor ralleys are held annually in nearby St. Yrieix La Perche and also the Montgolfier races in August with beautiful air balloons. Pompadour boasts the finest equestrian centre in France which is only 20 mins away where dressage and horse racing takes place. There are markets in nearly every village in the area and local crafts and wares are available.
