The Bakehouse Cottage has been recently restored using traditional materials and fittings.The original bread oven has been retained in the kitchen, but is non functional. This is a unique opportunity to stay in a traditional 17th Century Jersey farm building that has been brought up to date for 21st century living and is a proposed site of Special Interest. The lounge/diner enjoys exposed beams and a large open fireplace. The cottage enjoys modern kitchen equipment, bathroom fittings and heaters.
Outside is an enclosed, south facing, garden with table and chairs, and there is another garden on the other side of the building. The Creamery has been converted into a snug, off which is a shower/wc. Upstairs from the Creamery, via a steep stairway, is a twin bedroom with sloping ceilings. The other twin bedroom, main bedroom and bathroom are upstairs from the lounge/diner. Children of all ages are welcome. Special price in low season for parties of two people. Sorry - no smoking in the accommodation.

The Jersey region

You will need proof of identity for flights and sea travel to the island. There is a reciprocal health care agreement with the UK. English money is used, and with drinks and cigarettes at duty free prices you will enjoy shopping in the many interesting shops of St. Helier and St. Peter Port.
There is plenty to do in the islands, whether it's a visit to the entertainment complex at Fort Regent in Jersey and Beau Sejour in Guernsey, Jersey's world famous zoo and pottery, or the many others attractions the islands have to offer. All in all, the Channel Islands are unique places to visit that are safe, clean and dedicated to ensuring that you enjoy your stay.
