Our apartment is directly on the ski slopes of La Grande Terche a perfect environment for beginner skiiers. With two bedrooms and a sofa bed six people will feel comfortabble.
La Grande Terche is a family friendly village in the Portes du Soleil area of france/Switzerland. An outdoor enthusiasts dream wit the mountainside on your doorstep. Breathe in the fresh air every morning. Freshbread delivered to the village daily.
One double bedroom and a second bedroom with a bunk bed. Dining table for six, TV and games for the children.
NOTE: For larger families or groups there are 7 beds - 1 double (2), 1 bunk (2) plus pull out (1), plus double sofa bed (2). Premium negotiable for 7.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region

Haute Savoie is a popular ski resort and maybe the best mountain bike resort in the world. The local cuisine is heavily influenced by cheese with local restaurants offering varied and hearty local dishes.
Beautiful French and Swiss villages are close by.
The summer months bring long sunny days - perfect foor a whole host of sporting activities.


St Jean d'Aulps area

Skiing is what draws people to the Alps. La Grande Terche has 32km of slopes which are perfect for beginners or people wanting more room on the slopes. New snow cannons mean that you can always ski back to the village - a 5km trip. For more experienced skiers I would recommend driving and parking at Ardent where the Portes du Soleil really opens up and be skied into late April.

Walking - fantastic walks from your front door

Golf - les gets and Avoriaz courses very close. You can tee off at 1500 Meters. A little further you have Evian and Chomonix championship courses

Horse Riding - Stables in Morzine

Swimming - In Lac Montrinond. Numerous opportunities in Lac Geneva or use the best public pool in the world in Evian. Also an Olympic sized pool in Morzine. Remember to pack swimming trunks as shorts are not allowed in the pools.

Mountain Biking - an absolute dream - 600Km of tracks. If you think skiing is exciting try coming down the same mountain on two wheels at 60Kmh

Tennis - St Jean D'Aulps and Morzine

Ice Skating - Morzine, with Morzine Ice Hockey teamplaying in Summer.

Water Rafting - On the local river - recommended

Recommended arrival is at Geneva airport. Then drive the short distance to the apartment. Geneva is served by many airlines including Easyjet. All the normal hire car companies are available at the airport including Hertz. Drive time approx 75 minutes.

You can drive from mainland Europe – Calais is achievable in 7 hours.

New build two bedroom apartment onthe French mountainside. The apartment has two bedrooms plus a sofa bed. Direct access to the mountains in a safe family friendly village.
Beedroom one has a double bed and bedroom two has a bunk bed plus pull out bed for 3 people (children). A further sofa bed in the front room sleeps two.
Two bathrooms and a separate toilet keep bath times down to a minimum.
Kitchen with cooker and oven and dining table for 6 people.
TV and play station available.

Further details outdoors:
Large west facing balcony for fantastic views as the sun disappears behind the mountain. With green spaces directly underneath the balcony.
Parking space on same level as front door.

Bed linen is not provided. You will have to bring quilt covers and pillow cases. Pillows and quilts are provided.

A 60 Euro key exchange and final cleaning is paid locally per booking. Negotiable.
