A large, sunny, self contained modern garden/ski apartment sleeping upto 6 people on a self catering basis. French doors lead from the lounge area onto a patio and S.E. facing lawned garden overlooking the pretty village of St. Jean d'Aulps in the Portes du Soleil. The local ski station 'La Grande Terche' and village centre are 5 mins away and just over 10 mins from the town of Morzine with access to Switzerland and the Avoriaz ski areas.

The village centre of St. Jean d'Aulps is only 5 minutes walk from the apartment and has 2 Boulangeries/Pattiseries, mini supermarket (open from 8am until 8pm), 2 Boucherie/Chacuteries, Post office and a Bank. There are 2 restaurants in the village and more at La Grande Terche for tasty traditional Haute Savoie cuisine. The large 'Champion' supermarket and petrol station is only 3 minutes drive towards Morzine.
St Jean d'Aulps area
St. Jean d'Aulps (810m) is a small mountain village surrounded by beautiful scenery. It has it's own ski station known as 'La Grande Terche' which is only 5 minutes from the chalet. The Ecole Ski Français provides child care facilities for 3-6 year olds and there is a crèche for children from 2 months to 6 years at the top of the gondola. A shuttle bus service connects St. Jean d'Aulps centre and La Grande Terche. The local ski area is linked to Bellevaux which covers 21 miles, with 16 pistes ranging from 900m to 1800m, it is ideal for beginners, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. If you really want more, then it is only 10 minute drive to the Morzine/Avoriaz sking areas, linking into 650kms of the massive and fabulous Portes du Soleil ski area.

(NB: sleeps 4 very comfortably, for a total of 6 people, 2 additional put-up beds will be provided). A shower room with vanity unit, washbasin, walk in power shower and WC. A fully fitted modern kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, microwave,dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The open plan dining area comprises a large table and chairs leading to the living room featuring a log fire burner, 2 wicker arm chairs and sofa, TV, sky satellite, dvd, video, mini hi-fi and a computer with broadband wi-fi. A wide selection of dvd’s, books, computer and board games are available for your enjoyment. The apartment has its own front door and entrance hall which offers ample space for coats, shoes and boots etc. All rooms have wall heaters.
