The ground floor apartment has been completely renovated and was new for the 2013 winter season. It is light and spacious and provides ideal accommodation for 2 families sharing.
Entrance to the apartment is via the front porch, complete with ski racks for storing your skis. A boot rack is located just inside the front door. The entrance hall leads to the large living/dining area which has a light and airy feel due to the large French windows overlooking the garden at the front of the property.
There are several comfy sofas arranged around the log burner, ideal for relaxing on after a hard day on the slopes. There is also a dining table with chairs for 10 people. The large kitchen is just down the hallway from the dining area and is fully equipped with all the modern electrical appliances, electric hob, cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher etc.
The master bedroom leads off the living room and has French windows leading out onto a private balcony at the rear of the building.
There are 3 further bedrooms along the hallway past the kitchen. The second bedroom can be either made up as a double or a twin bedroom. The third bedroom is ideal for children sharing as it has 2 sets of bunkbeds, and the fourth bedroom has a set of bunkbeds with a pullout single underneath.
All the bedrooms are ensuite with either baths & showers or showers only. They are all well equipped with heated towel rails and the bedrooms all have ample storage and hanging space.
There is also laundry room complete with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside the apartment, there is a large sun terrace and beautiful garden which is ideal for outdoor dining in the summer months and plenty big enough for the kids to play in and build snowmen in the winter months.
There is parking for one car adjacent to the garden and additional spaces in the communal car park opposite.

The Portes du Soleil ski area has over 650km of ski runs making it one of the largest ski areas in Europe.
Located 5 minutes down the road from Morzine, is the charming village of St Jean d’Aulps. It is surrounded by superb scenery and is smaller and quieter than Morzine, making St Jean d’Aulps an ideal destination for families. The village has a wide range of amenities including a bank, post office, restaurants, bar and a small supermarket.

It also benefits from having its own ski resort, La Grande Terche, served by 16 ski lifts and 34km of ski runs. It offers the skier very majestic scenery and is less crowded than other resorts, and therefore does not suffer from long lift queues.

"Excellent apartment, everything we needed was provided, clean and attractive."
Our party consisted of 2 families of 5, 4 adults 6 teenagers. Every bedroom had an ensuite which made showering etc easy. Shops were a few minutes walk away. Could ski from village which we did once. Driving to other resorts was easy and range of skiing excellent. Jo was extremely helpful and we felt we could contact her if required. Apartment was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and beds comfortable.Dinig room table is really for 8 but it can seat 10. Only problem we had was parking outside the apartment there are supposed to be 2 places but for a few days one was occupied by owners of apartment above. This was not too much of a problem as there is a carpark nearby. Could hear people above but as we are eraly risers it was not a problem. An excellent place to stay if you are prepared to drive to nearby resorts which is easy to do - this gives you vast range of slopes to ski. We had a fantastic holiday and it was great to come back to Rufus after a hard day on the slopes.
