Home description

Situated in a perfect location on the ridge overlookling the West Coast , the Manyatta is surrounded by well established tropical gardens and boasts a very private setting , yet is just a few mintes drive to the famous Mullins Beach.

The main rooms at Manyatta all open to covered verandas which in turn lead to the garden and an inviting swimming pool and sun terrace. There are three air-conditioned bedrooms which all have ceiling fans. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and the other bedrooms share a bathroom. Dining may be indoors at an antique, mahogany dining table or al fresco on the pool terrace, where there is a built-in barbecue. A TV, VCR and CD / cassette player are included for indoor entertainment. The Manyatta is also equipped with a security system.
Guests are well looked after by our housekeeper and cook.

The West Coast region

Barbados is famed for it’s year round sunshine, white sandy beaches, warm blue waters and it’s friendly fun-loving people. It is the most easterly of the Caribbean Islands and measures 21miles by 14 miles.
The west coast (also known as the "platinum coast") is a fringe of bays and coves along the sheltered, Caribbean side of the island.
There are opportunities to explore the island by land, going off - road in a 4x4 Land Rover, or simply by hiring a car; by air in a helicopter tour; or by sea, on one of the many types of cruise.

St James, Barbados / Mullin's Beach area

The Manyatta is just a short drive (10 minute walk) to popular Mullins Beach, where there are restaurant and bar facilities, and water sports. Golf and tennis can be arranged at the newly renovated Sandy Lane Hotel and Golf Course, which is a 5 minute drive away.

Speightstown is only a short drive away for your local shopping and restaurants.
