Sunset Blue is a luxury family apartment in tropical gardens with huge outdoor pool and patio area. All renters have exclusive use of the pool and gardens. Accommodation is for up to 6 people in 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms/double sofabed. Facilities include high speed wireless internet access, twice weekly cleaning, all linens, towels. Children are welcome and we provide baby equipment including strollers/high chairs/cots for your convenience. We are also happy to advise about car rentals/drivers permits.

The West Coast region
Barbados has warm weather year round with temp's not usually ever dropping below 70's. The island is easily accessible by car, but for the thrifty traveler and those who do not wish to drive there are plenty of frequently running buses. Places of interest include the capital Bridgetown, Earthworks where the local pottery is made, and various museums and churches. Barbados also boasts many old plantation houses which are now "national trust " and can be toured for a small fee. For those in search of adventure there are both walking tours and bus tours. The beer factory (Banks) and the rum factory (Mount Gay) can also be toured and the alcohol duly sampled! Many of the west coast beaches have glass bottom boat tours for the avid snorklers to experience first hand swimming with the turtles!
St James, Barbados / Holetown area
Local attractions include picturesque beaches, wonderful beachside restaurants and the famous Sandy Lane golf club. February boasts Holetown's festival which lasts for two days and hosts local crafts and Bajan food. In the summer Barbados has various car races across the island as well as surfing competitions on the East coast. The summer season ends with "cropover" a large festival which celebrates the sugar cane harvest with street fairs and a carnival. Sunset Blue is about 1/4 mile from Holetown, which has dutyfree shopping, a food market, garage, and post-office. It is also home to some of the best restaurants on the island. We have pristine beaches complete with bars where at "happy hour" you can enjoy 2 pina coladas for the price of 1!! For those keep-fit enthusiasts there is a gym and also tennis courts in Holetown. Sandy Lane golf club is within walking distance too. Mullins beach is the place to go for water sports....it is about a 10 minute drive north of the apartment. On a Sunday afternoon you can sit on the beach and listen to the steel band who play there every week.

Baby equipment available including strollers cots and high chairs. All bedrooms have air-conditioning and mosquito nets. We have wireless internet access and a huge dvd collection for your entertainment.
Further details outdoors: Sunset Blue is set in a tropical garden where the local green monkeys will visit you twice a day! We have our own patio/bar area with sunloungers and plenty of beach towels for your comfort. Also in the bar area is a large charcoal BBQ and a drinks fridge for dining al fresco!
