Well appointed and newly equipped two bed spacious apartment in a superb location just next to a sandy beach in one of Brittany's most sought after resorts. This light and airy apartment has been newly fitted out and decorated in summer 2007 and is now available to let all year. The standard of the decor and fittings is high with a new kitchen, bathroom and new appliances. Central heating and modern insulation make the apartment a comfortable base at any time of the year. Sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms , folding beds are also available if you have visitors for a night or two. The apartment has large sea facing windows, making the rooms exceptionally light. If you step outside to the front garden , you can directly access the beach , crossing the coastal footpath which runs round the peninsula of St.Jacut. The apartment is comfortable and provides a wonderful place to stay in this sought after resort.

The Brittany / Cotes-D'Armor region
Brittany is an area of breathtaking natural beauty. The long coastline is a seemingly endless succession of rocky headlands, wild cliffs, island studded bays and beautiful sandy beaches. Inland is equally attractive. Fairytale castles, historic towns and ancient megaliths are sprinkled through the gentle hilly countryside. A wide variety of interests are well catered for , including golf, fishing, all sorts of watersports, hiking and cycling. The region is easily accessible from the UK with ferry ports at St Malo , Roscoff or Cherbourg and with Ryanair providing very low cost flights to Dinard.
St Jacut De La Mer area
St Jacut is situated on a peninsula with 11 safe sandy beaches to explore. As well as swimming in the clean waters rockpooling and fishing, a sailing school is close by as well as a diving school . Kayak hire is also available. The area is ideal for cycling, or walking along the coastal footpath which runs directly outside the front of the house. Close by is the ruined Chateau Guildo and the peaceful Arguenon river valley. The popular resorts of Dinard, St Briac and St Lunaire are very close. A little further is the walled port of St Malo ,the medieval town of Dinan and the world heritage site of Mont St. Michel. There is a good number of excellent golf courses a short drive away from the house, including Dinard (founded in 1887), St Malo, Pen Guen (St Cast) and Sables D'Or at Cap Frehel. Perhaps the best course is located at Pléneuf Val André, which should be on every golfers 'must play' list. As the language can sometimes be a barrier , we can liaise with the course on your behalf and book tee times for you so your golf is all arranged before you arrive.
How to get there
St Jacut De La Mer is easily reached from the Ferry Port of St Malo ( 30 minutes drive) or the nearby airport of Dinard ( 16 minutes drive) with Ryanair offering very low cost flights from the UK. The Ferry ports of Roscoff , Cherbourg and Caen are all within 2 hours easy drive on France's well maintained road network.
