About the home

Well appointed and equipped two bed spacious apartment in a superb location just next to a sandy beach in one of Brittany's most sought after resorts.
This light and airy apartment is situated on the ground floor with a spacious living room / kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom. Central heating and modern insulation make the apartment a comfortable base at any time of the year. The apartment has large sea facing windows and direct access to an outside terrace and shared garden. If you step outside to the front garden , you can directly access the beach , crossing the coastal footpath which runs round the peninsula of St.Jacut. The apartment is comfortable and provides a wonderful place to stay in this sought after resort.

Direct access to sunny terrace and lawned shared garden. Across the garden is the coastal footpath which leads to the beach and can be followed right round the peninsuala of St Jacut.

A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking , the balance being due 8 weeks before your holiday.

Safe family beaches close by

The Brittany / Cotes-D'Armor region

Brittany is one of France's favourite visitor destinations, offering superb sandy beaches, unspoilt countryside, traditional country towns and some superbly preserved historic monuments. The region is firmly French but running through daily life is a strong Celtic heritage, with traditional Breton festivals and events taking place throughout the year.

The North coast of the Côtes D'Armor is a long coastline of sandy beaches, dramatic headlands, secluded coves and a string of traditional seaside towns and villages. Inland the countryside is gently hilly with a network of footpaths, miles of uncrowded lanes and pretty towns and villages to explore. The seaside citadel town of St Malo, medieval Dinan and the impressive Mont St Michel all well worth visiting. Paris is within easy reach by high speed train, tickets booked in advance can be very good value.

The St Jacut De La Mer area

St Jacut is situated on a peninsula with 11 safe sandy beaches to explore. As well as swimming in the clean waters rockpooling and fishing, a sailing school is close by as well as a diving school . Kayak hire is also available. The area is ideal for cycling, or walking along the coastal footpath which runs directly outside the front of the house. Close by is the ruined Chateau Guildo and the peaceful Arguenon river valley. The popular resorts of Dinard, St Briac and St Lunaire are very close. A little further is the walled port of St Malo ,the medieval town of Dinan and the world heritage site of Mont St. Michel.
There is a good number of excellent golf courses a short drive away from the house, including Dinard (founded in 1887), St Malo, Pen Guen (St Cast) and Sables D'Or at Cap Frehel. Perhaps the best course is located at Pléneuf Val André, which should be on every golfers 'must play' list.

St Jacut De La Mer is easily reached from the Ferry Port of St Malo ( 30 minutes drive) or the nearby airport of Dinard ( 16 minutes drive) with Ryanair offering very low cost flights from the UK.
The Ferry ports of Roscoff , Cherbourg and Caen are all within 2 hours easy drive on France's well maintained road network.
