A luxury holiday house, located in the Downalong area of St Ives, very close to two of the town's stunning beaches, harbour, restaurants, galleries, shops, parking and other amenities.

Large living room, separate dining room with table for eight and kitchen with Rayburn stove.

Small private rear courtyard with outdoor hot and cold shower. Great on return from the nearby beaches.

One king size room with en-suite shower room, One double bedroom, One twin room and one bunk room with en-suite wc and washbasin. One bathroom with small bath & shower over.

Dining room with round table and seating for 8, small TV/DVD player, large storage cupboard with coat hanging space, storage for shoes and bags. Iron, ironing board, broom etc. Patio doors to courtyard.

Kitchen with Rayburn Stove, separate conventional oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Door to courtyard.

Under stair cupboard with travel cot and vacuum cleaner.

Master bedroom with king size bed, bedside tables, large wardrobe, dressing table, window seat, 19" TV and en-suite shower room.

Double bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and mirror, bedside tables and 19" TV.

The West Country / Cornwall region

The rugged coast line and stunning beaches. The temperate climate, a haven for wildlife and wild flowers, the many visitor attractions, quaint villages and interesting towns, National Trust Homes and Gardens, coastal walks, surfing and sea fishing. Plenty for most holidaymakers!

The St Ives / Downalong area

St Ives is easy to reach by road, air and train. It has crystal blue waters, golden sands and a warm welcome. A mild climate, warmed year round by the Gulf Stream!

There is a working harbour. There are tiny cobbled streets to wander through, lined by fishermen's cottages, shops, restaurants and galleries.

Magnificent walks can be taken along the coastal footpath south towards Lelant with the opportunity to return by branch line train or west towards Zennor and Gurnards Head.

St Ives is renowned for its art and there are workshops, studios and galleries everywhere.

Tate St. Ives, part of the Tate Gallery in London, is a stunning building with a varying exhibition of local and national works. The Gallery stands high above the magnificent surfing beach of Porthmeor. Allied to Tate St Ives is the Barbara Hepworth Museum.

There are many cafes and restaurants catering for all budgets and tastes.

Enjoy the view across to Godrevy Lighthouse or take a short boat trip to watch seals basking on the rocks in the sunshine.

St Ives has plenty for young and old, summer or winter.

By Road:
From Exeter you can choose from two major holiday routes to St Ives, the A30 and the A38.
The A30 will lead you across Bodmin Moor, and by taking the A38 route you will enter Cornwall across the Tamar Bridge in Plymouth. The roads are mainly dual carriageways.
Approximate driving time from Exeter is 2 hours

By Rail:
There is a good service from most major cities.

For St. Ives you will disembark just before the train goes on to Penzance, at St. Erth Station and from there take the St. Ives Branch Line which takes you approximately 15 minutes along magnificent coastline to enter St.Ives.

By Air:
Newquay Airport is just less than an Hour from St.Ives

The property is located in the Downalong area close to the harbour. Once in St Ives make your way to the harbour front and proceed along Wharf Road from the lifeboat station, turn left at the Sloop Inn into Fish Street. No 11 Fish Street is located about 60 metres along on the right hand side.
