The Cornwall region
With its mild, sunny climate, secluded coves and colourful history populated by smugglers and pirates galore, it's no surprise that Cornwall is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the UK. It's perfect for all ages and interests - kids will love the golden sandy beaches and the chance to swim in the sea, while keen surfers know Cornwall as the UK's surfing hotspot. Adults, meanwhile, will be charmed by the region's quaint villages and attractions such as the Eden Project and Rick Stein's seafood restaurants at Padstow. Whether you're looking for a family holiday, an action-packed break or a romantic getaway, Cornwall is the perfect destination.
St Ives is one of Cornwall's premier destinations for a multitude of reasons. It has a long and well-deserved association with artists and craftspeople as a result of its spectacular coastal setting and the special quality of the light. Even if you weren't blessed with artistic gifts, however, St Ives is an enjoyable and rewarding destination. It is a perfect base from which to explore the beauty of southern Cornwall, with its sandy beaches and lovely coastal scenery.
There are also plenty of activities on offer in and around St Ives, and you're bound to find what you're looking for here, whether you'd prefer a round of golf or a gentle hike, or a more vigorous activity such as surfing, horse riding or deep-sea diving. The area's maritime past is also in evidence in the large number of pleasure boats which can be hired to explore the coast.

"Men Behaving Badly"
To advertise this as a holiday apartment as child frienly is a joke. the only 'Kids' that might enjoy it are baby goats. The property was dirty with drawers full of junk, ferns growing through windows, more cobwebs than hogworts, a leaky roof and dirty socks behind the bunk beds. The floors were sticky in places, and there are a flight of stones steps for access...ideal for those with a buggy and young children. It would appear that it must be a 'Lads Flat' that is let out for the summer to cash in on the holiday trade. My wife and I left early. Location was good though!
I conceed the property is not suitable for very young children or the elderly / infirm, but take issue with the other comments.
The revues appear to be subtmitted by the same couple on the same date and have obviously have crafted the revues to be as negative as possible. I have been letting the property for 5 years and haven't had any complaints before.
The property has a deep clean at the start of the season and professional cleaners do the change overs.

"Would not recommend this property!"
We stayed in this property with our 3 young children. The advert suggests that it is ideal for kids, this is not the case! There was a gap (large enough for a child to slide through) between the bannister and the wall at the top of the stairs, the windows do not have any locks on them so can be easily opened; they also leaked when it rained!
The property was quite obviously not professionally cleaned as there were mouldy tea bags in a tea pot plus floors were not mopped, also the owner was aware that the dishwasher was not working but did nothing to fix it.
I could go on as the list is endless. We were hugely disappointed for the amount of money we were paying I expected a lot better!
We would not recommend this property and feel that it has not been checked properly.
