Conditions
The Hot Tub is Exclusive to La Casa. In the event of your group also renting the Casita all members of the Group can use all areas of Garden Space.
Otherwise the side Gates are closed and the Hot Tub is for the Main House only.
We would like to make renters aware the Hot Tub is by request due to the fact that this is drained down completely cleaned and refilled with fresh water for each change over, though out the week the balance is also checked.
There is an additional supplement for the preparation and care of the Hot Tub . All information regarding the Hot Tub will be explain by the Management team.
In the Main weeks we will try to book Rivavista for one party . details will be explained by management team.
The West Country / Cornwall region
The West Cornwall peninsula is at the very south western tip of mainland Britain, and an ideal location for a relaxing break. Everything the area has to offer is within a 20 minute drive including Michelin star restaurants, some of Europe's cleanest beaches, world class tourist attractions and spectacular coastal views.
West Cornwall enjoys long warm summer days and great weather all year round. This is apparent when looking at the local gardens, overflowing with tropical plants and flowers.
There are miles of country side, moorland and coastline to explore, each dotted with monuments to Cornwall throughout the ages. Walking along one of the coastal paths, its will not be long before you come accross one of the many chimney stacks of engine houses remaining from Cornwall mining heritage. There are many antiquities in the area dating from 4500BC including standing stone circles, ancient villages and other megalithic monuments.
The St Ives / Lelant area
Rivavista is a stones throw from local transport links, meaning you can leave the car behind and still explore the beautiful surrounding area. Take the train along the UK's most beautiful branch line to the nearby St. Ives and spend the day on the golden sandy beaches and visit the winding shopping streets with many excellent restaurants. St. Ives is popular amongst artists and boasts many Art Gallery's, including the world famous Tate Gallery.
On the southern side of the peninsula lies Penzance, the capital of West Cornwall. Take the helicopter or boat to the Isles of Scilly for a day trip. Why not watch a performance at the Minack theatre, carved into the cliffs at Porthcurno. Penzance overlooks St. Michaels Mount, a small island just off the beach with a large castle on top, and is the National Trusts most photographed property.
The area has hundreds of activities to keep you entertained on you holiday including a variety of watersports, boat trips, sporting activities, relaxing massages, a vibrant nightlife and days on the beach to name just a few.

Great holiday home, me and my family immensely enjoyed ourselves staying here! It was a home away from home and in fact we wish we didn't have to leave! However, there was some major issues with our holiday. When we had arrived on Saturday and until sunday early evening we had no hot water in the house as there was a problem with the boiler. We contacted the owner and this was fixed on the sunday. Secondly, one of the bedrooms downstairs had a bathroom. However, the toilet in this bathroom would only flush once and then you had to wait a very long time to be able to do it again, like an hour! Even when it did work, the water pressure was not enough. Thirdly, one of the most important features of the house for us was the Wifi connection. Unfortunately, this was horrible and very troublesome. It would never work at night, and only one laptop would connect during the day! They had BT infinity installed, but none of our Apple mobile devices (iPhones and iPads) would work with this consistently. For example, we would get one connection for like 2-3mins and then it would drop for a long time. More then a internet line problem this was a problem with their Router! Finally, when we had left the house the owner contacted me blaming us for stealing 10 bars of soap and some coffee sachets!?!? Since, she had given us the key to their garage she thought it was us who had stolen the items - however we had only entered the garage once to reset the router and that was it. We didn't even take the extra soap bars and coffee sachets from inside the house let alone from the garage (as we had bought our own)! After a few days she returned our full deposit but did not even issue an apology! The issue was more to do with the owners staff counting the inventory wrongly! Apart from these issues we really enjoyed our stay here, there was a lot of good to be found with the house such as the facilities, the space indoors and outdoors, the views from the house, the number of towels and beach towels was really helpful aswell. I would definitely recommend the house as a holiday home but that is only if the issues above can get fixed permanently. With all theses issues I was expecting their at least to be some sort of compensation on our return but we didn't even get an apology! |
