The Big Beach House is ideal for groups of surfers and windsurfers, being right on what is probably the finest beach in Cornwall. It is also very popular for big family gatherings, special birthdays, hen parties and wedding guests. We have beds for 20 people in 9 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 shower rooms. There are 2 cots and 2 highchairs. Price includes full linen and towels.

We have just updated the kitchens and now have a lovely pale blue 4 oven electric Aga, so it's hot and ready to get cooking all the time, and looks great with the big Smeg fridge/freezer.

We have room for 6 cars and lots of outside space. Plenty of garden furniture and wonderful views over the beach!
Conditions
We have a Friday changeover. Well behaved dogs are welcome at £25 each. Short breaks of up to 3 nights (weekend) or 4 nights (midweek), welcome any time; charged at two-thirds of weekly price.

The West Country / Cornwall region
This is a wonderful beach side location with stunning scenery. We have the mildest climate in Britain and the water is warmed by the Gulf Stream so it's ideal for watersports.
The south west has a much milder climate than most England, and consequently Cornwall has long been a popular summer getaway.
The area provides the best surfing in England, with towns like Newquay, Bude and Croyde being filled by enthusiasts every year. There is excellent walking on Bodmin Moor, domain of the legendary beast, and the coastline is wild and beautiful.
The St Ives / Hayle area
St Ives Bay is a magical place, from the fascinating town of St Ives with its maze of cobbled streets and art connections at one end, to the lighthouse island at Godrevy. It faces west to the sunset and our house has the finest views over all. There's plenty to do, from walking the coast path through the sand dunes, surfing or sand yachting, to visiting art galleries or sub tropical gardens. We're also near Penzance for the Isles of Scilly ferry. We have the densest concentration of prehistoric remains of hillforts, Iron Age villages, and stone standing circles, in West Penwith. And the local carnival of Heylfest takes place at the beginning of August. Lots to do and lots of fun to be had!

A BIG thank you from all of us here in Bristol
for the use of the Big Beach House this week -
the holiday and accomodation FAR exceeded
our expectations. We will definitely be spreading
the word. The location was amazing and
the sitting room and view so impressive. We
loved eating there in the evenings with the big
windows open, gazing at the sea and waves.
We loved playing in the garden and were
really impressed with how well the house was
kitted out. The quality of the kitchen equipment
including the SMEG fridge was way beyond
what you get in so many rental properties.
We also thought you were v generous in
providing BBQs, buckets, spades, amazing flat
screen TV to watch Wimbledon Tennis Final
and The Apprentice on etc. The kids loved
walking from the house to the beach and the
location made the holiday really easy and
stress free for us parents! SO THANK YOU
for helping us have a lovely week near St Ives.

WE LOVED: The rabbits in the garden,
The spectacular view,
Watching the watersports,
Rolling down the sand dunes,
Walking along the beach,
Waking up to the sound of the sea,
Playing hide and seek in your beautiful house,
Sipping champagne in the garden,
The dishwasher,
The wind and rain at the window,
The short walk home from the pub,
Eating together in the conservatory at sunset,
Playing chicken with the incoming tide.

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the advertiser's discretion.
Prices between £1800 and £3000 per week - including VAT. We do a Friday changeover and short breaks out of season are welcome. Weekend breaks (Fri - Mon) or midweek breaks (Mon - Fri) are chargeable at two thirds of the weekly rate. A single dog is welcome subject to a £25 charge. We hold a small damage deposit, refundable in full if no deductions need to be made. Payment by cheque, paypal or direct bank transfer, with 25% payable on booking and balance due a month before arrival.
Smaller groups: we can offer late availability stays at £20 per person per night for bookings made within a month of arrival. Ideal for surfers when the waves are up!
