Kittiwake at Barepta Cove is a stunning seafront apartment in Carbis Bay, offering a natural and peaceful location for exciting retreats to Cornwall, with direct access onto the South West Coastal Path through the gardens and within a short walk you can be on the beach. The view from the floor to ceiling windows in both the living area and master bedroom is sure to take your breath away, along with the fabulous full length seaward facing balcony, which all boast one of the most enviable panoramic sea views across St Ives Bay.

Upon entering the property via the nautical front door, complete with porthole, you can't help but be mesmerised by the fabulous sea view through the lounge and master bedroom doors. A coir matting area offers a good place for leaving sandy shoes; you will also find a useful coat hanging area and video entry phone. A utility cupboard is home to the washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and clothes airer. Beautiful oak flooring is laid throughout the living area of the apartment making it feel even more spacious.
The large combined living and dining area is bright, airy and spacious and has a fantastic view of the sea and bay from the wall of windows. The sliding patio door provides access out onto the amazing full width balcony and also allows the fresh sea air to flow in. A contemporary pair of leather sofas are ideally positioned for enjoying the views out across the bay to St Ives. The matching solid oak furniture comprises of a TV unit, coffee table and a nest of tables so that you can relax with a drink and newspaper.
Alternatively you could enjoy the entertainment package provided, which includes a 39” Samsung SMART television with Sky family package, complimentary wireless internet and a DAB radio with CD player and iPod dock. Should you really wish to block off the view, there are coastal striped curtains at the windows.
The dining area is perfectly positioned next to the kitchen within the main living area and still enjoys the fabulous sea views. An oak dining table with four faux leather chairs provide very comfortable dining for relaxing indoors. The lighting in this section of the room may be dimmed to allow for an even more relaxed ambience. Within the matching oak sideboard you will find place mats together with a variety of board games and books.
The contemporary kitchen is located to the rear of the property yet has a large open window into the living and dining area to take full advantage of the amazing sea views. The rear window also allows additional natural light into the kitchen, with a Venetian style blind provided for your privacy. Ample storage can be found within the modern white gloss, soft close units and plentiful preparation space is available on the black granite work tops. Integral appliances comprise of an oven/grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and gas hob with extractor above. You will also find a toaster, kettle, handheld blender, coffee filter machine and a whole host of crockery, glassware and utensils.
The washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in the large cupboard located in the hallway.
The bright and airy spacious master bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom and a wall of windows which offers a panoramic sea view from the comfort of your bed. Sliding patio doors allow you to take advantage of the wonderful decked balcony, perfect for enjoying a relaxing cup of tea in the morning and maybe a glass of wine in the evening.
White bedroom furniture consists of a sumptuous king size bed, matching bedside tables with reading lamps and a matching dressing table with stool. A double mirrored wardrobe provides both hanging and shelf storage. A pair of coastal rattan chairs are positioned next to the window, ideal for inside or outside use on the balcony. Located to the rear of the property, bedroom two has two single beds with matching white bedroom furniture consisting of a bedside table with lamp and a large chest of drawers. A double mirrored wardrobe provides ample hanging space and you will also find a blackout roman blind at the window, carpeted floor, a 22” LCD television with integrated DVD player and a hairdryer.
Luxury white cotton bed linen is provided in both bedrooms, along with a selection of high quality towels for each guest.
The family bathroom provides a shower cubicle, WC, freestanding wash basin with storage underneath, heated towel rail and a backlit mirror with shaver point. Under floor heating ensures your toes are not cold on the charcoal toned floor and the walls are tiled with modern ceramics.
The en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom is beautifully spacious and offers a white suite comprising of a bath with overhead shower, WC and twin wash basins with storage underneath. Seaward Facing Balcony
The spectacular full width decked balcony can be accessed from both the living area and master bedroom sliding doors, where the tremendous panoramic sea views can be admired. This very special outlook takes in Carbis Bay beach below and stretches right across the bay to St Ives harbour, Gwithian and Godrevy lighthouse. A bistro table and two chairs are provided on the balcony and a further two chairs are available for your use. External lighting allows you to carry on enjoying this tranquil area into the evening.
The peaceful communal gardens are situated to the front of the development and provide access down to the private gate which leads directly onto the South West Coast Path. A shower can be found within the gardens, ideal for washing off sandy wetsuits or muddy boots.
A designated space can be found within the secure gated car park. Additional pay and display parking is also available in the coastal branch line train station car park nearby.

Barepta Cove Apartments are situated on Headland Road on the old site of the Tregorran Hotel.
