A truly enchanting little barn conversion that nestles in a peaceful and tranquil valley between St Ives and Penzance and is absolutely made for couples that just want to get away from it all and spend some quality time together! Smithy's Stable - which dates back to the 1700's and was a working blacksmiths until the 1960's - is now a gorgeous little hideaway which has been beautifully renovated by the current owners who have ensured that it retains as much character from this bygone era as possible. Solid wood floors, internal beams and open granite walls, a wood burning stove for those cuddly Autumnal evenings and even a couple of complimentary mountain bikes should you wish to explore the surrounding countryside.

The stable is attached to the owner's house but has its own private entrance and pretty garden complete with garden furniture and gas BBQ. The house and stable are surrounded by extensive private grounds including the formal gardens, a large pond and over three acres of woodland and fields which are just waiting to be explored by just the two of you! Smithy's Stable is ideally situated for walking as there is immediate access to the network of footpaths that criss-cross the wild moorlands of West Cornwall and join with the beautiful and rugged coastal path between, St Ives, Zennor and Lands End. Whilst the property is situated in a very beautiful and rural setting, it is certainly not remote as a five minute drive will bring you into the picturesque harbour town of St Ives, renowned for its resident artists, art galleries (including the Tate), many fantastic restaurants and great beaches. The bustling regional hub of Penzance is only a ten minute drive away. For those guests that do not wish to drive, there is an hourly bus service from the village (five mins walk) to either Penzance or St. Ives. Smithy's Stable is a very special place which really cannot be easily summed up in words but book early as it will not be a secret for too long!

Fully fitted kitchen units with solid wood worktops, mini electric oven, grill and rotisserie, double gas burner, canopy with extractor fan and light, under counter fridge with ice box and black ceramic sink. Wall mounted flat screen television, i pod docking station and radio, chocolate brown leather sofa, dining table and chairs and a small wood burning stove. Low wall and beam partition to bedroom with brass double bed and views over the garden. En-suite shower room with large walk-in cubicle, thermostatic shower, hand basin and WC. Slate floor with wall mounted towel rail and radiator. Outside: Very pretty garden with picket fence, small lawn area, table, chairs and gas BBQ. Access to owner's fields and surrounding woodland. Complimentary bikes upon request. Please note: ONE SMALL DOG ACCEPTED and guests are kindly asked to refrain from smoking in the property.
