Beach Haven is a contemporary house sat in an elevated position within St Ives that is characterised by dramatic sea views. These take in the surfing beach of Porthmeor, The Island, St Ives Bay and Clodgy Point.
A stroll from all the temptations and bustle of the harbour, beaches and restaurants of St Ives the house is perfectly positioned to return to at the end of a busy day. Beach Haven is just a 2 minute walk from the South West Coast Path which offers stunning scenery as you meander along the coast.
There is a private sunny courtyard, perfect for alfresco eating on a warm day this leads into the open-plan living area with floor to ceiling windows looking out to those stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding coast.
The kitchen is perfect for creating a gastronomic masterpiece where the glass hob is positioned so even the chef has a sea view. Well thought out and equipped the appliances include a dishwasher, freezer, wine fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer it really has everything you will need during your stay.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and more stunning views to Godrevy Lighthouse to wake up to, the second bedroom has two single beds. You will love the luxurious limestone lined bathroom with a freestanding bath, double walk in shower all complimented with under floor heating – perfect for soaking away the stresses of life.
At the front there is a lawned garden and patio to enjoy the stunning sunsets over the ocean.
The living room has a flat screen wall mounted TV with Freeview channels along with a DVD player, each bedroom has a TV and DVD Player and there is a Play Station in the twin bedroom. In addition to this you will find a high chair, travel cot and stair gate for the younger members of your party. A garden shed provides space for surfboards and wet suits and there is an outside tap to wash everything down at the end of a day on the beach.
Linen and towels are provided, and the local Deli will deliver a yummy box of goodies to welcome you to Beach Haven.
Unrestricted on street parking is available on a first come basis.
Booking Terms and Conditions - please read as bookings will only be accepted when you have read and agreed the following booking terms and conditions:
Booking Terms and Conditions FOR BEACH HAVEN
When you, (the “Licensee”), book the property known as Beach Haven, St Ives, you enter into a contract with the Owner of that Property (Us, We, Our). No tenancy agreement will be entered into or implied by this contract.
All offers and bookings are subject to availability; the party leader must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking. Large non family groups and hen or stag parties will not be permitted. Your booking is made as a consumer and you agree that no liability can be accepted by Us for any expenses, costs, losses, claims or other sums of any description which relate to any business, howsoever suffered or incurred by you. When we issue a written confirmation to you, this signifies that We have entered into a contract with you, which is subject to these Conditions. We have the right to refuse any booking prior to the issue of your written confirmation, and if We do this, We will tell you in writing and promptly refund any money you have paid Us. When you receive your confirmation, the details must be checked carefully. If anything is not correct, you should tell us within seven days. We reserve the right to terminate the letting contact if you are in breach of any of the booking conditions contained within this document.
2 PAYMENT & DEPOSIT
When you book Beach Haven you should pay the amount then due by debit or credit card. If you book less than 8 weeks before your arrival date, payment of your total holiday cost is due straightaway.
Deposits will be refunded following the departure of guests, the refund is subject to the property being left in a clean and tidy condition with no damage. If the deposit is to be refunded to a non UK bank account any fees incurred will be deducted from the deposit.
3 CHANGES OR CANCELLATION BY THE GUEST
If you have to, or wish to, cancel your booking, the party leader must contact Us as soon as possible. The party leader must also immediately confirm your cancellation in writing. The balance of the holiday will still be payable on all cancellations. We will endeavor to re- sell your booking at the full or reduced price. Any discount will be at Our discretion. We strongly recommend you take out cancellation insurance.
4 CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY THE US
We do not expect to have to make any changes to your booking, but occasionally problems occur and bookings have to be changed or cancelled. If this does happen, We will contact the party leader as soon as is reasonably practicable, explain what has happened and inform you of the cancellation or change. A full refund will be offered if we have to cancel your holiday.
5 CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE OWNER
Except where otherwise stated in these Conditions, We shall not be liable for any change or cancellation which is a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond Our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if due care had been exercised. For example, beyond Our control includes fire, flood, exceptional weather conditions, epidemics, destruction or damage of the property by any cause (other than negligence by Us) and all similar situations. No compensation, expenses, costs or other sums of any description (including without limitation the cost of securing an alternative property/ accommodation) will be payable in such circumstances by Us.
6 PROPERTY DETAILS
We aim to ensure that the information provided is accurately conveyed in all advertising, whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the property details, changes and errors occasionally occur. There may be small differences between the actual property and its description, as We are always seeking to improve facilities. Occasionally, problems mean that some facilities or services become unavailable or subject to restriction. If this happens, We will tell the party leader as soon as reasonably practicable after We become aware of the situation.
Discussion of any criticisms with Us whilst you are in residence will usually enable shortcomings to be rectified straightaway. If You vacates the property prematurely as a result of alleged dissatisfaction or makes a claim on return from the holiday, and have not contacted Us as soon as you noticed any shortcomings or problems, then no liability for any subsequent claim will be accepted or correspondence entered into.
We shall have no liability for any death or personal injury unless this results from the negligence of us.
8 YOUR HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION
Arrival and departure
You can arrive at Beach Haven after 4pm and you must leave by 10.00am on the last day. You must contact Us 3 days prior to arrival to inform Us of your approximate time of arrival. If you fail to arrive by 12.00 noon on the day after the start date of your holiday rental and you do not advise Us your booking may be treated as having been cancelled by You. No refund of any monies paid by You will be made in this situation.
Care of the Property
You and all members of your holiday rental party agree both to keep Beach Haven clean and tidy and to leave Beach Haven in a similar condition as You found it upon Your arrival. You and all members of Your holiday rental party further agree not to use Beach Haven for any commercial purpose, including subletting Beach Haven. You are responsible to Us for the actual costs of any breakage or damage in or to Beach Haven – along with any additional costs that may result – which are caused by You and/or any members of Your holiday rental party, and We can invoice You to cover any such costs.
Possession of the Property
We are entitled at our sole and absolute discretion to refuse to hand over to You, or to repossess Beach Haven (which includes the fixtures, fittings, furnishings and decorations) if We reasonably believes that any damage is likely to be caused, has been caused or is being caused by You or any members of Your holiday rental party. These circumstances will be treated as a cancellation by You and no refund of any monies you have paid in respect of your booking will be made and We will not have any liability to You as a result of this situation arising (including for example any costs or expenses You incur due to not being able to occupy Beach Haven, such as Your incurring the cost of securing an alternative property/ accommodation). In this situation We are not under any obligation to find any alternative accommodation for You. You must not allow more people then the number booked to occupy Beach Haven, neither can you significantly change the composition of the holiday rental party during Your occupation of Beach Haven, nor can You take Your pet into Beach Haven.
Registered guide and hearing dogs belonging to those with visual and hearing impairments are allowed in Beach Haven even though Beach Haven states that pets are not allowed. Customers with allergies should be aware of this and the We cannot accept any liability for any suffering which may occur as a result of such animals having been present.
Access to the property
You must allow Us and any representative (including workmen) access to Beach Haven at any reasonable time during your occupation of Beach Haven (except in cases of emergency or where a problem needs prompt action – in these situations We are entitled to enter the property at any time without giving you prior notice). We cannot be responsible for or accept liability for the area surrounding the accommodation.
9 THE LAW
Any disputes between you and Us will be governed by the exclusive law and jurisdiction of the English and Scottish Courts.

Your statutory rights are not affected by anything contained within these Conditions.

St Ives is a fantastic holiday destination and offers something for everyone with 4 main beaches, Porthmeor being the surf beach, the harbour beach is perfect for sunbathing or watching the world go by, Porthgwidden a small quite beach and Porthminster beach with its famous beach cafe restaurant.
With The Millennium Gallery, The Tate St Ives or one of the many wonderful art galleries to visit this famous town is an artists delight. Why not book some lessons at the Porthmeor Studios where regular painting classes take place.
For those who enjoy walking Beach Haven sits almost on the south west coast path, explore the dramatic and breathtaking coastline.
In May the St Ives Food and Drink festival takes place and is well worth visiting. In September the St Ives Festival takes place with music and art taking centre stage. Christmas and New Year are really special times and the town comes alive with the famous fancy dress street party on New Years Eve.

"Perfect in every way"
We arrived on a very sunny day in July and were all very pleased with this house in St Ives. It is only 5 Minutes walk to one of the best beaches in cornwall where my husband and son of 12 years had surfing lessons twice and loved it. The town with a good range of shops and classy restaurants is about 10-15 minutes walk, there is also a great little amusement arcade to call in on the way home. Beach Haven itself has fantastic views over the bay, it is clean and comfortable and provides every thing we could have possibly asked for during our stay. There is retricted parking, but this wasn't a problem for us at all, we always found a space.
We didn't want to leave and my son said it was one of the best holidays he has ever been on, although I think the weather helped!

"Lovely house in a great location"
We were very happy with our stay at Beach Haven. The property was very well equipped for our toddler, with stairgate, highchair and travel cot (much appreciated as we travelled by train and couldn't carry our own). We were also very happy to find the scones, jam, clotted cream, tea and milk waiting for us after our very long journey!
The house itself was very clean, comfy and modern, with everything we needed for our stay. Perfect for a small family.
The view from the living room is fantastic and the property is only a short walk from the nearest (and in our opinion, best) beach - Porthmeor.
We hope to stay here again one day!

"A comfortable, clean and contemporary property with stunning views."
I stayed here at the end of June with my fiance and our little girl who is 17 months old and what a fantastic time we had. Beach Haven is beautifully presented accommodation. Clean and comfortable with a stunning view of the old chapel that sits on a hill overlooking St Ives. Walking up to the church is a must.
To be able to relax in the front room and look out at the waves lapping Porthmeor Beach was a real pleasure and the view stays with you long after you've left.
I highly recommend staying here as it's only a five minute walk from the nearest beach and in a great location. The owner, Rachel is friendly and very helpful.
There are board games and DVDs supplied and the wi-fi worked a treat too.
As it's open plan downstairs, our little girl loved the freedom of being to toddle around the place.
All in all this a perfect place to stay to soak up the beauty of St Ives. We were gutted to leave and can't wait to go back.
