St Ives

St Ives is famed for is beautiful natural light and no day will ever be the same. The beaches have white sand and the sea is as blue as you will find in the Caribbean. There is so much to do for everyone in St Ives whatever the weather - you will not be able to do it all in one trip and we find that our guests come back year after year for more !

"Ideal Location - Nice personal touches but shabby in places due to poor maintence"

We loved the location and some of the cottages personal touches were lovely, but the outside terrace was a let down. It was tatty over grown and un-loved. The bed settee was not suitable for our teena… More

Hi I am so sorry that you had a couple of issues that were not resolved. We endeavour to make sure that everything as you would like it to be. I am sorry that the garden was overgrown and your response from the housekeeping service was not as it should be. We will try to do better ! We always provide bedding for the number that is booked for. The bedding for the sofa bed is stored inside the antique pine box in the lounge. I am glad that you still had a lovely time in St Ives.

"A chilled out beach holiday stay in a cosy cottage"

Downalong was a lovely little cottage that was just right for us. There were 2 of us and a friend came along to stay for a couple of nights and we also had our little border terrier with us. We were literally 1 minute away from the high street of St Ives with its cute boutiques and restaurants and the beach was the same distance to walk. We had a great time just walking on the beach and the view from St Nicholas Chapel was fantastic. The food was great and the atmosphere very relaxed and family oriented. I would definitely recommend the cottage as the location was great and it was cosy and welcoming.
