Cornwall is a popular holiday destination and with good reason- it boasts a milder climate than most of Britain, very safe and convenient surroundings, and has some of the world most amazing coast line. Golden sand, surf, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. It has been a Mecca for artists and photographers alike due to the epic inspiration land/seascape and beautiful light!!
St Ives / Hayle area
The chalet offers very comfortable and easy living and is an ideal base from which to explore Cornwall.
The beach and estuary are popular for surfing, windsurfing and numerous other water sports. Hayle town is a ten minute walk away and has a good selection of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, pubs and art galleries. There is a golf course across the estuary at Lelant and great walks through the dunes, along the cliffs or around the estuary. The numerous theme parks and activities in West Cornwall will ensure your children never get bored. Just 5 minutes from the Chalet there is a new BMX/skateboard park featuring the UK's only over vert bowl. The chalet is situated in the perfect location for all the family catering for all your hobbies, whether you're an amature photographer/artist or a family full of teenagers or even if you just want somewhere to retreat and read a book - the chalet has got it covered from every angle. You wont be disappointed.
St Ives town is about a ten minute drive away or you can enjoy a leisurely train ride from the Park & Ride station just outside Hayle. For the more energetic, a walk along the three miles of golden sands will bring you to Godrevy Lighthouse and the National Trust Café which offers good food and light refreshments. The Eden Project, Heligan Gardens, and many other major attractions are within easy reach of Hayle.
How to get there
By Car - Follow the main A30 to HAYLE. At the large roundabout take the old road to Hayle town (4th exit). Follow road continuing straight on over the double roundabout for approximately half a mile until you come to traffic lights by the Jet Petrol Station. Turn RIGHT by the Recreation Ground into Lethlean Lane. This is also signposted to Phillack and the beaches. Continue along this road past the “Bucket of Blood” pub for approx 1/2 mile. Just after sharp right hand corner turn LEFT into Riviere Towans Chalet Site. Continue over a few speed bumps and you will notice Lilliput on the right. It's very easy to spot once you've seen the photos on this advertisment.

Further details indoors: The chalet is equipped with a new washing machine, widescreen TV, DVD player, Digital freeview, DAB radio/cd player with ipod input (jack lead supplied). All entertainment units are remote control. The chalet is also equipped with a range of beach games and holiday paraphernalia for you to use. We also provide wall mounted electric heaters although with the large glass front the chalet is usually always nice and warm naturally.
Further details outdoors: The local stretch of beach (Hayle/Gwithian/Godrevy) is one of the best surfing spots in the country. There is professional lifeguard cover there during the summer holidays. 2 minutes drive away there is one of the UK's top skate/bmx parks, featuring the UK's only over vert bowl. All in all the area is great for all age groups and the friendly atmosphere will make for an awesome break whatever your interests.

• THE ‘OWNER’ shall mean Glen Prisk, freehold owner of the property.
• THE ‘CLIENT’ shall mean any person whose name appears on the booking form.
• A CONTRACT is agreed between the Client and the Owner (on the basis of the information available on the web site or promotional material) when a deposit is paid and written confirmation of the booking has been provided by the Owner. It is the responsibility of the Client to check that the written confirmation is correct.
• ALL BOOKINGS ARE FROM 3PM ON THE SATURDAY OF ARRIVAL TO 9AM ON THE DAY OF DEPARTURE.
• ALL BOOKINGS must be made by a person who has attained the age of 18 years or more at the date of completion of the booking form.
• A 25% DEPOSIT is payable at the time of booking. On receipt of the deposit an acknowledgement will be sent indicating the amount of balance remaining. In the event of a cancellation of a confirmed booking or the non payment of the balance of monies due any deposit paid is NOT REFUNDABLE.
• THE BALANCE of rental payable is due six weeks before the holiday begins. If the Client fails to notify the Owner of any delay in forwarding the balance of monies by the due date, the Owner reserves the right to relet the Chalet.
• THE NUMBER OF PERSONS occupying the chalet may not exceed 5.
• THE CLIENT shall keep the property, its fixtures, fittings and furnishings, in a clean and tidy condition. No items may be removed from the chalet. The accommodation will be inspected at the end of the holiday and the Owner reserves the right to charge for any loss or damage found.
• IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY or special circumstances the owner (or appointed representative) reserves the right to enter the accommodation in order to carry out maintenance or repairs in the absence of the Client.
