Horizon is a fabulous pet friendly luxury holiday rental in Cornwall offering wonderful panoramic blue sea views across St Ives Bay. Horizon most certainly offers all you could require for the perfect Cornish seaside family holiday, boasting beautiful, spacious interiors and its fabulous location on Gwel an Mor Road means you can be having fun on Carbis Bay beach and within just a short walk.
The open plan living area is beautifully bright and spacious with fabulous large windows which allow you to make the most of the far reaching panoramic sea views across St Ives Bay. Attention to detail is prevalent throughout this wonderful home from home, especially in the living area with its solid oak flooring and cosy wood burner. A large corner sofa and two armchairs are perfectly positioned for enjoying the marvellous entertainment package provided, which comprises of a 37” Samsung LCD television with BT Vision (including Sky Sports and a vast selection of films); Sony DVD player including a collection of DVDs and a Nintendo Wii with a selection of games.
The dining area is perfectly positioned within the open plan living area, next to the kitchen. A table and six chairs are provided, the ideal place for enjoying family meals together.
Should you decide to dine out during your stay, why not pop on the scenic train to St Ives and enjoy a scrumptious meal in one of the town's fine dining restaurants? Should you desire a more relaxed atmosphere, Blas Burger is certainly worth a visit.
Within the hallway a bespoke work station can be found, an ideal space should you need to keep up to date with work whilst on holiday. Complimentary superfast fibre optic broadband is provided and a selection of books, local guides and maps can be found.
The kitchen at Horizon is very spacious and also boasts panoramic sea views via the picture windows. An island unit takes centre stage with four bar stools, ideal for sitting and enjoying a morning coffee from the coffee machine whilst watching the LCD Freeview television. Ample storage can be found within the white gloss units, with plentiful preparation space on the Corian worktops. Polished porcelain floor tiles are laid throughout the kitchen and hallway and there is a great selection of cook books for those budding chefs. The integrated appliances comprise of a Neff oven, microwave-oven, plate warmer, fridge, dishwasher and a five burner gas hob with extractor fan above. You will also find a food processor, George Foreman grill, toaster, kettle and a variety of utensils, crockery and glassware.
The utility room is located on the lower ground floor and offers a freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and sink.
Bedroom One with En-suite
The master bedroom of Horizon is a tranquil place to enjoy a quite night's sleep. A comfortable double bed, matching bedside tables and reading lamps, an armchair, hairdryer, LCD Freeview television and solid oak flooring can be found. Double French doors open out onto the front garden, perfect for allowing the fresh Cornish air flow in. A dressing area can be found within the en-suite shower room where a bespoke oak storage system provides both hanging and shelf space.
The second bedroom is also to the rear of the property and overlooks the patio area. This room is carpeted throughout and offers a double bed, bedside tables with matching reading lamps, a built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, full length mirror and an LCD Freeview television.
The third bedroom is located adjacent to the kitchen overlooking the rear patio and is carpeted throughout. Twin zip and link beds can conveniently be joined together to make a king size bed. Matching bedside tables with reading lamps, chest of drawers, integrated hanging space, vanity mirror and an LCD Freeview television with DVD player can also be found.
Luxury Egyptian cotton bed linen is provided in all bedrooms with a selection of high quality towels for each guest.
The family bathroom is located adjacent to bedroom two and is incredibly spacious. A bath with waterfall tap, walk-in double rainfall shower, large wash basin with storage underneath, freestanding WC, vanity mirror, shaver socket and a full height heated towel rail are all complimented by the polished porcelain floor and wall tiles.
The master bedroom offers a contemporary en-suite shower room which comprises of a double walk-in rainfall shower, wash basin with storage underneath, vanity mirror, full height heated towel rail and porcelain tiles.
The cloakroom is located off the bedroom hallway and offers a WC and wash basin.
A selection of high quality towels comprising of bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per person. Complimentary White Company toiletries are also provided.
Low level walls border the side of the property, with a lawn area which can be accessed via the front terrace or the master bedroom French doors.
The covered front terrace can be accessed via the kitchen or the steps which lead up from the garden. This is a fabulous place to sit and take in the views whilst enjoying alfresco dining. A charcoal barbecue is also provided for your use.
A second set of steps to the side of the property lead up from the parking area to the kitchen. Access can also be gained to the rear of the property where a patio and washing line can be found.
The block paved driveway provides parking for one car, with additional roadside parking close by, available on a first come first served basis.
