This apartment takes its name from the sparkling clear seas and golden sands right on its doorstep. Local works of art adorn the walls of this premier property, and it is so conveniently placed that you can easily explore the galleries in charming St. Ives. Stylishly fitted and furnished, Clearwater makes a superb holiday home. Positioned on the ground floor, when sitting on the decked terrace guests will enjoy the weather from this super sun-trap while being surrounded by attractive sub-tropical planting.
Clearwater has a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area with two comfortable leather sofas seating up to four people. There is a 42" HD Plasma TV with Freeview, a DVD player and a Nintendo Wii to keep you entertained. A selection of books and DVD's are also provided. A 2 seater leather settee and 2 leather armchairs are provided and the lounge has a number of paintings featuring the local area to remind you of where you are staying.
A Welcome Manual in the apartment provides a wealth of information about St Ives, If you feel inspired, why not take a stroll into St Ives and peruse the local art galleries and shops selling local crafts. You will enjoy reading the Visitor book which records previous guest experiences or, you may just like to discover St Ives for yourself.
The dining area is open plan with the lounge and kitchen. Perfect for sociable entertaining where 'chef' can enjoy the views whilst preparing the meal. The solid oak and glass table has seating for four people to enjoy a home cooked meal. You can also enjoy your wine nicely chilled taking it from the built in wine cooler accessible from the dining area. If you enjoy cooking, why not search out some of our local farm shops for some fresh produce? You can even pick up fish caught that very day from Newlyn Fish Market or the fishmongers in St Ives.
If you prefer to dine out, then the acclaimed Porthminster Cafe is just a short walk away. This has been nominated by our guests as one of the best places to eat in St Ives as it has the benefit of being right on Porthminster beach. Great if you fancy a lazy lunch or a smart dinner. At lunch time, if you have children they will enjoy playing in the sand while you relax! Other recommended eateries are the AA rosette awarded Alba, The Seafood Cafe and Onshore Pizza restaurant.
This contemporary kitchen has high gloss units with beautiful walnut work tops. It exudes quality and we believe that the Owners have thought of everything. Budding chefs should have everything that they could possible need to create the perfect dish, the open plan accommodation of Clearwater provides for sociable food preparation so chef can converse and enjoy the views across St Ives Bay. Alternatively, there are a number of take-away establishments in the Town where you can have you meal delivered.
As you would expect from an apartment of this quality, the kitchen is fully fitted and has NEFF appliances comprising microwave, electric hob, oven and extractor in addition to a built in dishwasher and toaster, kettle, cafetierre and Tassimo coffee machine. There is a separate utility room off the hallway with a washer/ dryer, ironing board and iron. Not to mention the wine chiller in the dining area!
Bedroom One with En-suite
Clearwater has two good sized bedrooms, the master bedroom has a luxurious king size bed. There are two bedside tables and bed side lamps, an iPod docking station, a 19" widescreen LCD TV with Freeview and DVD player, very spacious built in wardrobes and a chest of drawers, plenty of storage for whatever time of the year that you plan to visit Clearwater. It provides year round self catering at its best.
The master bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom with sink, WC, and shower enclosure.
The second bedroom of Clearwater is located close to the family bathroom and has two single beds. A bedside table with iPod docking station are also provided along with an LCD TV with Freeview and DVD player, chest of drawers and wardrobe. So you will find plenty of room for storage whatever the weather or time of year you are visiting St. Ives.
With the beautifully presented with crisp cotton bed linen, you will enjoy a sound sleep after a long day exploring St. Ives or discovering the delights of West Cornwall.
A cot and high chair are provided for our younger guests, we do ask however that you provide your own bedding for the travel cot. A set of towels comprising bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel is provided for each guest.
The main bathroom of Clearwater is adjacent to the master bedroom off the hallway, fully tiled with large modern tiles, the sanitary-ware is white Italian style and the fittings are sleek chrome. There is a WC, wash basin, bath with overhead shower and screen, also a chrome ladder towel rail. Towels are provided for each guest as you would expect from one of St Ives premier apartments.

With a choice of bathrooms, there will be no disagreements as to "who is first", both a perfect place to relax from a hard day on the beach.
The patio at Clearwater is somewhere where you may enjoy most of your time, it has a table and chairs, seating up to four people. It is a superb spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. For mood lighting in the evening there are led lights to give you that bit of atmosphere while you sip your glass of wine and relax to the pace of Cornwall.
If you are an early riser, you will enjoy the spectacular sunrises over Hayle and Godrevy. The Balcony enjoys the sun for most of the day but even with sun setting behind you, you will enjoy the ever changing colours of the sea and sky. Of course a short walk into town, to Porthmeor Beach is where you will witness the most spectacular sunsets and catch the silhouettes of the last surfers catching the waves.
