About the home
Trevawood cottage is based on the St.Ives holiday village complex in Lelant, approximately 4 miles from the picturesque town of St.Ives. Set in a woodland area on a family friendly park, this cottage is a must visit for anybody looking for a holiday in cornwall. This is a 2 bedroom ( 1 double 1 twin room ) self catering cottage with open plan kitchen/lounge.
In the holiday season the complex has an abundance of facilities and activities for all ages, such as an indoor swimming pool with slides and saunas, the rafters club with dancing and entertainment and for the kids there is a foxys club together with an outdoor play area. Or you could take a walk through the picturesque woods and be amazed by the variety of wildlife living there.
Venture off site and visit St.Ives with its award winning beaches, the cultural and historical town has much to offer with the Tate gallery and other art expeditions.
There is free WiFi and internet access inside the main Clubhouse building.

St Ives is easy to get to by car or train. The nearest train stations are St Erth or Lelant Saltings, both of which are 1.5 miles away. The location is a 5 minute drive from the main A30 road. Budget airlines fly to Newquay airport from all over the UK. Newquay airport is 40 miles away (1 hour).

I booked this chalet on behalf of friends who were staying with us at John Fowler Holiday Village. The owner Gail was fantastic from start to finish, lovely and exceptionally accommodating on all levels. My friends stayed in the chalet, and having seen it myself inside I can honestly say I was very impressed with the facilities, the amount of things provided were up and beyond what you would expect. Very clean, tidy and very warm (believe me St Ives was freezing everywhere bar the chalet). I would have NO hesitation in booking again and would recommend Gail and her lovely chalet to anyone!! Thank you Gail for everything, you were amazing and my friends loved their stay. |

We had a fantastic time here at Trevawood!The cottage was in a very quiet part of the park and was of excellent standard,well equipped ,very clean and newly decorated. All in all a real home from home and all the john fowler staff were helpful and friendly.Location is perfect for exploring the coast and there are some lovely walks close by and excellent beaches!! St Ives is beautiful and very chilled out! We took our 9 year old black lab and found most places to be dog friendly especially the Watermill just down the road.This cottage is excellent value for money!!We have already re-booked for next year!! |
