Cottage | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 8
We would describe Fourways as a Cornish family cottage. There is a large inglenook fireplace with wood burner for an evening game of backgammon and a TV room for a bit of time out. A kitchen diner and spacious dining room are at the back of the house with patio doors leading out to the large enclosed south facing garden.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms. On the front a large spacious double with bay windows and a large twin. At the back with beautiful views over to Godolphin Hill there is a large spacious twin and a smaller double room. There is also a modern family bathroom.
The perfect cottage for a summer holiday in West Cornwall. One day can be spent on the lovely Perranuthnoe beach (5 min drive), the next on a trip to the fantastic St Michael’s Mount (10 min drive) and another wondering the cobbled streets of St Ives (15 min drive).
Godolphin House and its beautiful woods and hills are just minutes up the road. From the top of the hill you can see both coasts - Mounts Bay in one direction and St Ives Bay in the other.
Should there be rain (dare we say it) the awesome Country Skittles in 1.5 miles away – there are skittles, a rifle range, air hockey and much more – oh and a licenced bar!

The West Country region
Cornwall, in the far west corner of Great Britain, is a stunning peninsula surrounded by the sea on three sides. The incredible rugged coastline is interspersed with sandy beaches, fishing harbours and secret coves. The Cornish mining, smuggling and fishing history gives a fascinating context to the landscape.
The perfect location for a West Cornwall summer holiday.
Townshend itself is a cute little village well located for both coasts.
Hayle and its 3 miles of golden sands is just 4 miles away, with St Ives just up the road from there.
The nearest beach is Perranuthnoe - which is great for children.
Praa Sands and its great Sand Bar is just a 10 minute drive.
Marazion and the awesome St Michael's Mount is 10 minutes' drive away.
From the door there are some lovely rural walks, with woods, hills and to some lovely country pubs.
