The former dairy of a magnificent late Georgian house, this charming conversion has been sympathetically renovated into a first class holiday home offering a high standard of accommodation. Many original features have been retained and the interior has been tastefully designed and decorated. Millpond Cottage is well equipped with quality furnishings throughout and is a delightful and attractive home forming a wing of the main house. Set in the centre of this conservation area on the outskirts of the Cornish seaside town of Hayle, the cottage sits in just under an acre of mature gardens and overlooks the pretty millpond from which the property takes its name.
Famous for its three miles of golden sands, Hayle is an idea touring base from which to explore the rugged West Cornwall Peninsula with its breathtaking scenery and coastal walks. St Ives, Penzance and Marazion with their beaches, art galleries and restaurants are all within an eight mile radius. Local shops and pubs are within easy walking distance and the nearby bakers are famous for their pasties. For 'foodies' there is a wine bar/restaurant almost at the end of the road and a wide range of cuisine including Thai, Indian, Chinese, Pizzeria and breakfast cafe's, some within walking distance and others a short two minutes drive.

Accommodation:
Access is through electric operated gates and drive to main house, separate entrance through a pretty courtyard. The cottage has full central heating with radiators throughout. Lounge: Views to courtyard, music system, TV/Video/VHS/DVD and Digibox. Kitchen: Fully fitted new kitchen to include washing machine/dryer, electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, slimline dishwasher, fridge, tiled mosaic floor. Bathroom: Original circular window, basin, bath with shower and screen, W.C. Dining Room: Views to garden and original staircase to eaved first floor. Bedroom One: Single bed, pretty co-ordinated furnishings, bedside cabinet and reading light. Bedroom Two: Double bed, bedside cabinets and reading lights to either side, overlooking gardens and Mill Pond. Outside: pretty courtyard with flowerbeds and pots, BBQ and garden furniture.
Please note: small children must be accompanied outside as owners have private pool in the grounds.
Central heating, parking for one, 5 mins walk/2 mins drive to shops.
