The Cornwall region
St Ives to Lands End
Walking around the Island gives you the feeling of wild cliffs yet is actually minutes from the town.
However the adventurous can walk for miles along the cliffs. The author, D. H. Laurence once lived in Zennor which is only a 3-4 hour walk along the coastal path. Here you will find the Wayside Museum and the "true" story of the Mermaid of Zennor, and also a pub and a tea room to whet your whistle. If you are feeling really sprightly, a walk to Land's End is only another 4 hours!!
You can also walk along the coast path to Carbis Bay and Lelant.
Catch the bus to Lands End from St Ives along Cornwall's rugged coastline to enjoy one of the most beautiful scenic routes in England. Lands End is one of the top 10 Tourist attractions.
From Penzance you can catch the Scillonian boat for a day out to the beautiful Isles of Scilly. Alternatively fly from Penzance heliport.
St. Ives is home to an abundance of excellent restaurants, with many placing an emphasis on freshly caught local seafood. Choose from a variety of cuisines in one of the restaurants that surround the picturesque harbour with uninterrupted views of the beach and fishing boats or choose to dine at one of the acclaimed beach restaurants.
The town is scattered with galleries, art cafes, surf shops, and hand-made artifacts where you can browse at your leisure. Meander through the cobbled streets where you can watch the local artists at work. The Tate Gallery, Hepworth house and sculpture garden are a must for art lovers. Behind Atlantic View is a Leisure Centre with pool, gym classes etc.

The views from the terrace are really breathtaking. The terrace is actually shared with the owners but they are such discreet people we had it to ourselves during the heatwave! Clean and fully equipped and fitted out Ikea style this bright clean little flat was ideal. The car park is literally next door and was really convenient. We had a smashing time here.
Thanks for your positive review, we like to ensure our guests enjoy their privacy, but also maintain our external areas discreetly. We hope to welcome you again to Atlantic View John & Tina

We have holidayed in St Ives on numerous occasions and this apartment is the best for: self catering, location, comfort, views & 'home from home' comforts. It has amazing outdoor space which is ideal when coming off the beach & having a couple of evening drinks outside in the evening sunshine. Parking right outside, just a couple of minutes walk into the town. Ideal for local cinema (in bad weather).Would recommend Rajpoot & Mermaid restaurants. When we next return to St Ives, we will stay here again with no hesitation.
Thanks for taking the time to review us. Really glad you enjoyed your stay with us and had a good journey home. Hopefully next time the weather will be kinder. Best wishes Tina & John

"Lovely little flat, stunning views, great location!"
My wife and I stayed here for a week in September and really enjoyed it. The flat itself is cosy and comfortable, farily well-equiped kitchen, comfortable bed. The bathroom is pretty small but this is a minor quibble. The view from the property is incredible, especially if you're lucky with the weather as we were, as you can see pretty much the whole of the main town, right down to the harbour and out to sea. It's a great location as the town is 5 mins walk down the steep hill (there's a lot of steep hills in St Ives!) so everything you'd need is within close reach. Overall a great place to stay, owners were very accomodating and friendly, good value for money especially out of high season.
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay and glad you enjoyed your time with us, hope to see you again in the future, regards, John & Tina
