Whether you want a base to explore from or a stylish, comfortable retreat to relax in, No. 8 won’t disappoint. In a quiet location only a few minutes’ walk from the bustling streets of St Ives, No. 8 comfortably sleeps six (plus 2 in a bunk room), with stunning views from the top floors and has a lovely south-facing garden – a rarity for St Ives. Within a few minutes’ walk you can be in the centre of the town, viewing the art at Tate St Ives or in the Barbara Hepworth Garden or simply settling onto Porthmeor Beach for a day in the sunshine.
Parking for one car is included - you can drive to the house to unload and then the parking space is a few minutes away on a private driveway. The walk back to the house is approx 5 mins.

We have three good sized bedrooms with comfy beds, gorgeous linen and soft towels. We have a lovely new bathroom and separate shower room, also recently installed. On the first floor you will find the master bedroom with a king sized bed, exposed brick wall and views across the rooftops to the sea. On the top floor, we have one room with a king size bed and spectacular views across the harbour and a third bedroom with twin beds and a side view to the Island. The shiny new family bathroom has a shower over bath, sink and toilet and we have installed a lovely new a shower room with shower, vanity unit and toilet. Both showers provide a lovely warm, powerful shower. Although the house is set up for 6 we also have a small bunk room (with full adult sized beds) which would suit 2 extra children and is the perfect place for a travel cot as it is near to the master bedroom on the first floor.
This is the ideal holiday home for families, friends or couples. Our home is family friendly with toys, books, buckets and spades as well as plastic plates, cups and bowls, a handy step in the bathroom and a changing mat if you need it. If you are travelling with little ones, then we can help take the hassle out of your packing a little bit. We have: a Travel Cot (please bring bedding), High Chair, Puzzles and Toys - all available at no extra charge.
Our stylish furniture and a variety of artworks around the house make this a homely place to stay - see our Tripadvisor reviews for guests comments. The modern and fully equipped kitchen, includes a range cooker, family-sized fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and of course a dishwasher. The living area is light, spacious and open plan, with living room and dining area, and a sash window overlooking the garden.
The sunny garden is a good size and a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of town. With a large table and chairs for eating out and space for the children to play in.
Pop through the gate from the garden and wander down the path and you're at the Barbara Hepworth museum in less than five minutes and then just a minute or so more and you are in the heart of St Ives town. From the front door, it's a five minute walk to Porthmeor beach, town or Tate St Ives.
Changeover day is usually a Saturday but outside the high season and for breaks of less than a week we will try to be as flexible as possible. Short breaks are available at quieter times or if we have a gap in the diary. We will always do our best to help meet your needs so please always get in touch with your dates and we will do our best to help you.

Barnoon Car Park is only a minute away or we highly recommend parking at the rugby club, you can unload at the house and then drive up to the rugby club and walk back down (about ten mins) or hop on the shuttle bus. You can book in advance directly with the club or on Ringo app, your space is guaranteed and you can come and go as you please - beats all that queuing for a space!

The house is on a quiet residential terrace with views across the harbour. The garden is private and south-facing, decked with outside table and chairs. Fantastic sea and harbour views from first and second floors. Nearest beach is Porthmeor - with the surf only a few minutes' walk away from your front door. The harbour and lanes of St Ives are also less than 5 minutes' walk away. If art is your thing then Tate St Ives is a close neighbour - again a few minutes' walk, with the Barbara Hepworth Museum just down the road.
