Located close to St Ives there is so much to see and enjoy. You can choose from the many cafes & excellent restaurants, or browse through the interesting craft shops & studios. There are also many exciting galleries including the famous Tate and Barbara Hepworth Museum.

This area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers wonderful beaches and beautiful nature walks. Or you could take in a show at the amazing and magical Minack Theatre.

For golfers there is the West Cornwall Golf Course in Lelant, one of the finest links courses in Cornwall that has won much acclaim. The course was established in 1889, which makes it one of the oldest golf clubs in the county too.

La Casa has a reverse living design and sleeps 8 people. There are two bedrooms at ground level: one bedroom with its own self-contained kitchenette and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one large, family bathroom and an additional WC.

The living and dining areas are also located on the second floor. Here you will find a well equipped kitchen which opens out onto the conservatory and has lovely views of the enclosed, private garden. There's also a separate dining room with seating for 8 guests and a spacious, comfortable lounge. The lounge has French doors opening out onto your very own private balcony with superb views of the Cornish countryside and Hayle Estuary beyond.

The Casita sleeps 4 and also has a reverse-level living design. It has two, beautifully appointed bedrooms and two bathrooms.

At ground level, the master bedroom is en-suite. There is also a twin bedroom with excellent quality cabin beds. The second bathroom is equipped with walk in rain-shower. Upstairs the open-plan lounge and beautiful shaker-style kitchen looks out onto the stunning views of the Estuary.

Both properties have been designed and equipped with the utmost care and attention to detail with the reverse living design taking full advantage of those wonderful views.

The West Country region

The West Cornwall peninsula is at the very south western tip of mainland Britain, and an ideal location for a relaxing break. Everything the area has to offer is within a 20 minute drive including Michelin star restaurants, some of Europe's cleanest beaches, world class tourist attractions and spectacular coastal views.

West Cornwall enjoys long warm summer days and great weather all year round. This is apparent when looking at the local gardens, overflowing with tropical plants and flowers.

There are miles of country side, moorland and coastline to explore, each dotted with monuments to Cornwall throughout the ages. Walking along one of the coastal paths, its will not be long before you come accross one of the many chimney stacks of engine houses remaining from Cornwall mining heritage. There are many antiquities in the area dating from 4500BC including standing stone circles, ancient villages and other megalithic monuments.

St Ives

Rivavista is a stones throw from local transport links, meaning you can leave the car behind and still explore the beautiful surrounding area. Take the train along the UK's most beautiful branch line to the nearby St. Ives and spend the day on the golden sandy beaches and visit the winding shopping streets with many excellent restaurants. St. Ives is popular amongst artists and boasts many Art Gallery's, including the world famous Tate Gallery.

On the southern side of the peninsula lies Penzance, the capital of West Cornwall. Take the helicopter or boat to the Isles of Scilly for a day trip. Why not watch a performance at the Minack theatre, carved into the cliffs at Porthcurno. Penzance overlooks St. Michaels Mount, a small island just off the beach with a large castle on top, and is the National Trusts most photographed property.

The area has hundreds of activities to keep you entertained on you holiday including a variety of watersports, boat trips, sporting activities, relaxing massages, a vibrant nightlife and days on the beach to name just a few.
