About the home

La Casita is a new immaculately furnished Cottage in the delightful Village of Lelant close to St Ives.

When staying at this property you can Enjoy wonderful walks in the woodland and along the coastal path to St Ives or why not take the hopper train and experience one of Britain's most picturesque train rides. So no need to worry about parking.
St Ives is well known for it's fabulous galleries such as the Tate and the Barbra Hepworth Museum . You can also enjoy the many shops and cafe's
The area is also know for it's outstanding natural beauty it has several lovely beach's and is also sort after by Bird watchers.
The Property has 2 bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms.
Both Bedrooms are located on the ground floor.
The Master bedroom is beautifully furnished with lush soft furnishings giving of a touch of luxury and comfort. This also has it's own private en suite Bathroom and a lovely feature of french doors that open onto a Patio area with bistro table and chairs.
The second bedroom is very versatile it contains two foldaway cabin beds and is decorated with a fun Nautical theme. When the beds are folded away it can become a perfect nursery. Next to this room there is a large Bathroom with spacious walk in Rain Shower decorated with a Fun Beach Hut theme.
The upstairs is an open plan area it is very light and Airy with kitchen and lounge. The decor and colours reflect the stunning views across the Hayle Estuary.
All Furnishings and linens are of the highest quality for your comfort .
You will feel like it is a real home from home

There is also a relaxing Hot tub at Rivavista when the Casita is booked alongside la Casa this can be used.

Relaxing Therapies can also be booked.

Internet access and Sky Tv are also provided.

We can also arrange a private chef and valet services

When staying to weeks Mid way service will be provided. If you require mid week service and towel change this also can be arranged for you at reasonable fee.

We are presently looking into legally registered child minding services. info will be up dated .

The second Bedroom is versatile.
The Cabin beds foldaway so it is possible to have one on the top only and on the bottom only or both beds down

When folded away this makes space for a cot bed the perfect Nursery because this room is just across the Hallway from the Master room. Excellent situation if you have a small infant. Themed bedding for the cot also provided
It is also possible to put a small cot in the Master room if the Cabin beds are occupied

The Cabin Beds are excellent Quality and may also be used for adults.

The Master room has a king size Bed. However this bed zips and locks and can be made into 2 singles. This would need to be advised in advance if this adjustment is required.

There is an additional double sofa bed in the Lounge area upstairs. Bedding can be requested for this if needed.

Further details outdoors:
Outside the french doors the patio and lawn are exclusive to La Casita.

The front Lawn maybe shared.

The rear Gardens are for La Casa only

Naturally if both properties are booked by the same group all areas are open including hot tub.

There is enough parking for serval cars arrangements will be made clear in your welcome booklet upon arrival

Nautical nursery

The West Country / Cornwall region

The West Cornwall peninsula is at the very south western tip of mainland Britain, and an ideal location for a relaxing break. Everything the area has to offer is within a 20 minute drive including Michelin star restaurants, some of Europe's cleanest beaches, world class tourist attractions and spectacular coastal views.

West Cornwall enjoys long warm summer days and great weather all year round. This is apparent when looking at the local gardens, overflowing with tropical plants and flowers.

There are miles of country side, moorland and coastline to explore, each dotted with monuments to Cornwall throughout the ages. Walking along one of the coastal paths, its will not be long before you come accross one of the many chimney stacks of engine houses remaining from Cornwall mining heritage. There are many antiquities in the area dating from 4500BC including standing stone circles, ancient villages and other megalithic monuments.

The St Ives / Lelant area

Rivavista is a stones throw from local transport links, meaning you can leave the car behind and still explore the beautiful surrounding area. Take the train along the UK's most beautiful branch line to the nearby St. Ives and spend the day on the golden sandy beaches and visit the winding shopping streets with many excellent restaurants. St. Ives is popular amongst artists and boasts many Art Gallery's, including the world famous Tate Gallery.

On the southern side of the peninsula lies Penzance, the capital of West Cornwall. Take the helicopter or boat to the Isles of Scilly for a day trip. Why not watch a performance at the Minack theatre, carved into the cliffs at Porthcurno. Penzance overlooks St. Michaels Mount, a small island just off the beach with a large castle on top, and is the National Trusts most photographed property.

The area has hundreds of activities to keep you entertained on you holiday including a variety of watersports, boat trips, sporting activities, relaxing massages, a vibrant nightlife and days on the beach to name just a few.
