Bungalow | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 6
For the 2014 season, we will celebrate 12 highly successful years of letting (averaging a 30 week occupancy each year) with an extensive refurbishment of the property to include redecoration, and furnishings along with a cosy summer sleep-out for the children - creating more sleeping room inside for the summer months. Later in the year we hope to offer a new lounge in a newly created dormer to enable a dedicated dinging room next to the kitchen.
The bungalow is situated on a small private drive just above the town and close to the Tate Modern. It has sea views across St Ives Bay and Godrevy lighthouse, and is only a short walk to the town and beaches. It is warm, comfortable and cosy, with 2 double rooms )one with an en suite) and another room with bunk beds and a cot/z-bed option. With a large garden and ample parking, Avoca is the perfect place to come back to after a day out in St Ives or the surrounding area. Digital TV, DVD player, WiFi and a host of other appliances for your comfort.
St Ives is stunning with beautiful beaches and surroundings. It houses the Tate Modern, full of beautiful art - and the Barbara Hepworth museum as well. There is a wealth of local galleries in the maze of streets by the quayside. Not forgetting the famous St Ives pottery - with showrooms and workshop. There also are plenty of local sports with a great indoor pool within walking distance for rainy days. There are local horse riding schools and we are very close to the famous coastal path.
NOTE: no cats or dogs allowed (despite what one review suggests!!)
