Seaview is a stunning first floor luxury apartment, tastefully decorated and furnished to a high specification, with beautiful sea views from the lounge, both bedrooms, kitchen and balcony. Located just above Carbis Bay Beach, one of the best in the UK, it's less than a 5 minute walk to the water's edge and an ideal base for exploring the many wonderful attractions West Cornwall has to offer.
The property is light and spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and offers the option of a quality double sofa bed in the lounge for those who require more than 4 beds. There is a well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge / diner, all of which lead out onto the balcony with its wonderful sea views across to St Ives. The balcony has a table and four chairs and is a perfect sun trap throughout the afternoon and evening, ideal for having a drink whilst watching the sun go down!
There are flat screen TVs in the lounge and both bedrooms, free Wi-Fi and a sound system with iphone docking. In addition there is a good range of games and books to keep you entertained. Outside the apartment there is a private parking space in addition to visitor parking available on a first come first served basis.
Carbis Bay with its blue flag beach is a great location and easy to reach by road or rail. The small train station located just a stone's throw away will take you into St Ives within 3 minutes and is probably the most scenic journey you are likely to take. Alternatively a walk along the coastal path with its breathtaking views of the bay will take around 20 minutes.
St Ives is a true gem with its cobbled streets, picturesque harbour, golden beaches and abundance of galleries and restaurants. It's easy to see why it was voted the 'best UK coastal resort' for 2012! And don't forget, this is just a taste of what Cornwall has to offer. With the Eden Project, St Michaels Mount, Flambards, Lands End and Paradise Park, to name but a few, there really is something for everyone.

From your King size bed in the master bedroom you will have views over the bay and to Godrevy Lighthouse.
The lounge/diner and both bedrooms have Samsung TV's with Freeview.
Towels and bed linen offer Egyptian Cotton quality giving you a luxurious feel.
The dining area can seat 6 people comfortably, plus you can also seat 4 people at the Kitchen table.
In addition to the family bathroom there is also an en-suite off the master bedroom
A Cot and High Chair are available on request.

The Balcony has a table, 4 chairs and has sea views across to St Ives harbour, as per the main photo.
There is a dedicated parking space in addition to visitor parking available on a first come first served basis.
The apartment is on the first floor of a block that consists of ground, first and second floors, 3 properties in total. There are 3 blocks and we are located in the middle of this small and quiet cul de sac.
It is less than a 5 minute walk to Carbis Bay Beach where you will find a cafe serving hot and cold food, drinks, ice creams and homemade cakes in addition to kayak hire on the beach (depending on the time of year).
The train station is a 2 minute walk from the apartment and the coastal path is on the doorstep!

Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
A deposit of 20% of the total price is required to secure the property and the balance is due 4 weeks before the holiday start date.
Refundable breakages deposit of £100 required with your final payment, to be refunded within 7 days of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
For bookings arriving within 6 weeks, payment must be made in full.
Only Saturday to Saturday bookings are accepted between March and October.
Short breaks (min. 2 nights) are accepted between October and March or at late notice outside these periods
3 night breaks are calculated at 60% of the weekly rate, 4 nights - 70%, 5 nights - 80%, 6 nights - 90%.
Short breaks not accepted during peak weeks unless at short notice
Why not try a weekend break out of season: weekly rate typically £400 so you pay £240 for the weekend (3 nights)

You can visit the award winning Eden Project with its impressive biomes, paddle over to St Michaels Mount at low tide, enjoy the picturesque fishing villages of Mousehole, Mevagissey and Cadgwith Cove or take in a show at the Minnack, Cornwall's famous open air theatre overlooking the sea. For children there are a number of attractions such as Flambards, Paradise Park, Lands End, Newquay Zoo and the National Seal Sanctuary.
The St Ives / Carbis Bay area
With numerous golden beaches all within easy reach, a wealth of cafes and restaurants, shops, galleries and views to die for, this special part of Cornwall really is the ideal holiday destination.
Carbis Bay is a perfect retreat for those wanting a quiet, relaxing holiday with the convenience of being close to the hustle and bustle of St Ives. The blue flag beach has excellent facilities, safe bathing, kayak rental and is perfect for families.
St Ives has 4 beaches including Porthmeor, a blue flag beach which is ideal for surfing; Porthgwidden, a small sandy cove and a real sun trap; the Harbour beach which is located in the heart of the town and the blue flag family beach of Porthminster.
In addition there is the less touristy Porthkidney beach at Lelant (to the right of the apartment), not to mention the sweeping sands of the Bluff, Towans and Gwithian, curving around to the spectacular Godrevy lighthouse.
Seals are frequent visitors to Carbis Bay and St Ives and are regularly spotted showing off to the crowds. Porpoise and Dolphins can also be seen at various times of the year either from the shore or by the regular boat trips operated from the harbour.
Having become a haven for artists, the area boasts numerous galleries and craft shops including the famous Tate Gallery located on Porthmeor beach, the Bernard Leach Pottery and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.
For children there is a surf school, an indoor pool and leisure centre, playzone, horseriding, a cinema and boat trips. The area also has its own golf course overlooking the sea, breathtaking coastal walks and nature reserve at Hayle Estuary.
With some of the mildest winters and warmest summers in Britain and Northern Europe, Carbis Bay really is a great holiday location at any time of year.

We had a lovely week at Seaview. The apartment is beautifully decorated and furnished, was spotlessly clean, equipped with everything you need and the views are stunning. Seaview is situated well for access into St Ives by car, train or via the coastal path. We would recommend staying at Seaview and have told friends and family. Booking was easy and the welcome basket of goodies on arrival was a really lovely touch and very yummy!!
