Lavender Cottage is set within the grounds of an old Manor House . The property is a delightful compact three bedroomed property which is carefully maintained and cleaned by the owners. This is an ideal spot for families as Lavender Cottage is within easy reach of Hayle's " 3 miles of Golden Sand" and 5 miles from the quaint cobbled streets of St Ives.
Hayle's long 3 mile stretch of beautiful coastline and sandy beaches has lifegaurds keeping an eye on our safety. Gwithian and Godrevy have many rock pools where the children love to look for crabs! The views actoss the bay from Godrevy Lighthouse to St Ives are stunning
St Ives, which is 5 miles away, has a unique array of individual art galleries and craft shops and may also be reached by train, with stunning views of St Ives Bay and Godrevy Lighthouse.
The St Ives Bay area which offers beautiful beaches and coves gives families an endless opportunity to explore.
There is easy access to the A30 and the attractions in Cornwall: Penzance and Lands End with the memorable Minack open air Theatre at Pothcurnow, Eden, Heligan, Tate Gallery. St Michaels Mount. The attractions are endless - or take a quick 20 minute flight or ferry to the wonderful Isles of Scilly.
Surf Porthmeor beach and Gwithian beach to rejuvenate you and there are endless walks to exhilarate and refresh the mind, and then finish with a Cornish cream tea!.
There are a good selection of golf courses for the dedicated golfer close by.
Bird watching is also popular, with the Hayle Estuary and the RSPB bird sanctuary only a mile away

Lavender Cottage is tastefully decorated that has a homely feeling.
The accommodation is for 2-6 people which has the availabilty of a travel cot. (Please bring your own bedding for the cot for hygiene reasons)

Within the grounds there is a heated indoor pool with a sauna. Bar with hot cooked meals. Launderette and shop. Games room. Tennis and squash. Snoker and pool tables. Play area for the children also the children's FOXY CLUB which is held twice daily. at 10am and 6pm, Greatly enjoyed by the children ( and parents too!) Also WiFi connection within reception area.
There is parking within the Manor House grounds.
Further details
The park facilities are open between March and October. Although you may stay in the cottage all year with a price reduction from November and until 23 December. 4 January until 14 March. The properties are available for Christmas and New Year - please apply for tariff.
The property has a no smoking policy although you may smoke on the patio outside.
We carefully service and maintain this property ourself and it is important to us that you are comfortable. You are able to contact us 24 hours a day if there should be a problem.

Cornwall is famed for its warm climate and glorious beaches it is the perfect place to come and unwind by the sea. Situated on the Southwestern tip of the UK Cornwall benefits from the warming Gulf Stream Current, which makes for excellent conditions for water sports.
As well as glorious award-winning beaches the interior of Cornwall has a lot to offer with miles of rolling countryside to explore and excellent attractions such as the Eden Project to keep you busy.
The St Ives / Hayle area
Hayle is situated right next door to three miles of golden sandy beaches and is an excellent place to come and relax. If you are interested in surfing of all types Hayle has excellent facilities nearby to cater for both the novice and expert surfer. Hayle is in the crescent of St Ives Bay surrounded by three miles of golden soft sand stretching to Godrevy Lighthouse with panoramic views of St Ives, Carbis Bay and Godrevy Lighthouse.
The Towans, Cornish for sand dunes, stand proud for all to see and are a rich source of wildlife and offer enjoyable coastal walks and fun for all the family.
This great beach offers scope for everyone from surfers to sunbathers, The beach is excellent for swimming, with shallow pools for younger children to paddle in and is Patrolled by lifeguards during the summer months, a secluded spot is always just minutes away. Godrevy Lighthouse, no longer manned, stands on a small island offshore and provided the inspiration for the novelist Virginia Woolf in her novel 'To the Lighthouse'.
The Hayle estuary stretches from Copperhouse to Lelant Saltings, It provides a haven and an invaluable feeding ground for many types of migratory birds each year including some rare ones.
