Our bungalow consists of a light and airy lounge with kitchen / diner with comfortable leather sofas, TV/DVD player, 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin) with double wardrobe and bathroom with electric shower over the bath.
“Puffin” is set in 100 acres of lush woodland near St Ives and offers the ideal location for your perfect Cornish holiday. It is ideally placed for touring the tip of Cornwall with minimum effort. Our bungalow consists of 2 bedrooms, bathroom and lounge/ kitchen diner. It is positioned in a sunny part of the park with facilities nearby. We have a large decked patio area to enable you to enjoy 'al fresco' dining.
There is a bus service in season which goes direct from the park into Carbis Bay, St Ives and Penzance. Or why not park and ride into St Ives, the views are amazing and follows the coastline. Trains run regularly into St Ives.
We are also very happy to accept your dog (maximum 2) at no extra charge, there are several lovely woodland walks from the doorstep.
With St Ives only 3 miles away and St Michael's Mount only 6 miles - you will be hard pushed to see everything in the area.
No visit to our holiday home would be complete without sampling the delights of Carbis Bay with its miles of sandy beach just over a mile away, perfect for a family day out with facilities close by.
Puffin is on a lovely family orientated holiday park with friendly and helpful staff who aim to make your holiday as enjoyable as it can be. In the evening relax in the Rafters Club . 'Foxy' leads off every evening with children's entertainment and there are games, cash bingo, super shows and family entertainment. The park has something for everyone.

With the famous Tate gallery and beautiful galleries and craft shops there is so much to do and see. Discover the bright and shining southwest tip of Cornwall, with ease. The ancient town of St Ives is nestled amongst rich, magnificent coastal scenery; it surrounds you with the clearest air, the cleanest beaches and scented, sub-tropical gardens.
Beaches offering fine golden sands, crystal clear waters, and a fantastic climate, St Ives really does have it all. Stroll along quaint granite cobbled streets admiring the cute fishermen cottages and soak in the atmosphere of the local hostelries or just sit and watch the world go by while enjoying a glass of wine on one of the many terraces. With so many beaches to choose from you would never tire of finding something new. If you are very lucky you may see a seal in the harbour. Dolphins, porpoises and basking sharks can also be seen in the Bay.
West Cornwall area can boast some of the cleanest bathing waters in Western Europe. There are award-winning beaches at Porthminster and Porthmeor, st ives and at Sennen. Each beach has its own charm and appeal; from busy family beaches to popular watersport's venues Enjoy wide-open flat sands and tucked away hidden suntraps. It's all here waiting for you.
St Ives is a sandy bottomed harbour which is still a working port where fishermen land their daily fresh catches of locally caught seafood. It's also very sheltered, a perfect sun-trap in the heart of town.
Whilst St Ives is rightly considered to be the jewel in the crown of West Cornwall, Carbis Bay, just over a mile around the headland, is a resort in its own right - it is a treasure waiting to be discovered. Bordered to the west by Porthminster Point and to the east by Hawke's Point, Carbis Bay Beach is one of the finest in Cornwall, the usually calm sea conditions and sheltered aspect ensure very safe bathing - perfect for families and water-skiing.
Carbis Bay is hard to beat as a base for touring Cornwall. Take the scenic branch railway line into St Ives within minutes; With St Michael's Mount and Penzance just 8 miles away. You can be at The Eden Project at St Austell in less than an hour. Take the coastal path to St Ives, or take the other direction towards PorthKidney Sands and Hayle Towans, with its spectacular views of Godrevy Lighthouse. Don't forget your camera.
