Cornwall has one of the most extraordinary collections of historic sites in the UK. Along with every other type of attraction that you can think of, you'll never be short of exciting places to visit.
From Carbis Bay, only 4 miles away in Hayle, you can have a great family day out in Paradise Park, with its exotic bird displays and outdoor and indoor play areas. St.Michael's Mount in Penzance, 9 miles away, is a world famous 14th Century Castle, and further down the coast you with find the Minack Theatre, an open air theatre, with spectacular coastal views. There are regular helicopter flights from Penzance to the exotic Isles Of Scilly every 20 minutes.
In Helston you can visit the Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station, as well as Flambards Theme Park. In Falmouth you can discover Cornwall's maritime past at the National Maritime Museum, visit King Henry VIII's stunning castle, and take a wander in Trebah Garden's, a 25 acre tropical garden.

St Ives / Carbis Bay area
Carbis bay is a treasure waiting to be discovered, exclusive and away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. It has it's own beach, with golden sands, a calm sea and a lovely sheltered aspect, ideal for families and the more discerning holiday makers. Only a short walk away are restaurants, hotel bars, and a supermarket. There is a gym, indoor swimming pool and a golf course at the famous Tregenna Castle hotel. Five minutes away is the Kids Play Zone and children's parks. Take the breathtaking scenic train journey around the coast to St.Ives, famous for it's artists, narrow cobbled streets, plenty of restaurants and the famous Take Gallery. St.Ives also boasts a necklace of fantastic beaches close to the town ,which are great for kids and surfers. In the harbour area are self hire motor boats, trips to seal island, and fishing trips. You can visit the 'Kids'R'Us' theatre or the local cinema. There are a great variety of local music bands, all year round. St.Ives and Carbis Bay have that true Mediterranean feel, with it's unique microclimate, which blesses this area all year round.

Carbis Bay railway station is one mile away. Mainline trains from London, The Midlands and The North stop at St Erth station where you can connect with a local train.

Further details indoors: Godrevy View has been modernised and decorated to a very high standard, with tasteful decor and furnishings.The large windows let in the sunlight and increase the enjoyment of the outside scenery. The entrance lobby is large enough to store bikes, surf boards, buggies etc. The ground floor has a cloakroom with a whb and WC.
The carpeted hall way leads to the stairs, with a door leading into a large lounge diner, laid with beautiful wooden flooring. The lounge has two double sofas, a coffee table, table lamp and a television with Freeview and a DVD player. The dining area has a lovely 7ft dining table with 6 chairs.
Another door leads into a gorgeous modern and well equipped kitchen with a separate integrated fridge and freezer, a microwave, a five ringed gas hob with two electric ovens, and a washing machine. It is very light due to the French doors which take you out onto the patio.
From the downstairs hallway, the carpeted stairs lead you onto a large light landing with doors off to a bathroom and three bedrooms.
The new bathroom suit comprises of a WC, whb, a bath and a power shower.
The front double bedroom has a rural outlook and consists of a solid wooden double bed with matching furniture and a built in wardrobe. There is also room for a cot.
The back two bedrooms have stunning sea views across the bay to Godrevy Lighthouse and the Hayle Estuary and Towans.
The larger room has another lovely solid wooden double bed along with a single pine bed. It has complimenting bedroom furniture, and a built in wardrobe.
The smaller bedroom contains a child’s bunk bed and a single divan with storage space under. There is also a hanging rail for clothes
Further details outdoors: There is a small front garden with bushes and a palm tree, a driveway and parking.
The back garden is enclosed, with the majority of it being lawn and the rest consisting of trees, bushes and shrubs. There is garden furniture, a barbecue, a slide, a child's blow up swimming pool and a swing ball.
