Home description

Our beautiful holiday home is situated along the South Wexford coastline. 5 min walk to the famous St. Helen's Bay beach, providing panoramic views of the coastline including Tusker Rock. Our home is adjacent to the championship golf course, St Helen's Bay Golf Resort, pro shop and clubhouse (which includes restaurant and bar). Additional facilities available include tennis court, basketball court, driving range and children's play area all within walking distance. Extremely child friendly.

The South East Ireland / County Wexford region

Situated at the south eastern tip of Ireland, known as the sunny south east. The area has beautiful golden beaches, good pubs, restaurants and golf courses. The nearest village is Rosslare Harbour, 5 minute drive. The nearest major town is Wexford, 15 minute drive. Waterford city with its world famous Crystal factory is a one hour drive away and medieval city of Kilkenny is one hour and fifty minutes drive. The Thatched cottage village of Kilmore Quay is twenty minutes drive where you can watch wild seals play among the fishing boats moored in the Harbour. Baots maybe chartered to visit the bird sanctuaries of the Saltee Islands or for some sea angling. Wexford History dates back to Viking times and The National Heritage Park at Ferrycarraig is only a twenty minute drive.


St Helens / Rosslare area

During October there is the famous Wexford Opera Festival in Wexford town, a must for all opera buffs, with fringe events such as the Wexford races and events in all of the local pubs in the town. The hotels in the surrounding area provide great food and most have beauty parlours for those who really want that special treat and break away from the children. Being a coastal area it has a great variety of seafood restaurants as well as the many fashion and craft shops to choose from.


How to get there

The Holiday Home is just situated off the N25 Route. Dublin Airport and Dublin Port are a two hour drive away, follow the M50, (M)N11 and the N25 (all roads join into each other) to Rosslare Harbour. Kilrane Village is the last village before Rosslare Harbour. On entering the village take the right turn after 'The Kilrane Inn' pub. The turn is signed for St. Helen's Resort. Drive straight for approx 1km until you reach the turn that bears right, where there are two turns off to the left, you take the second turn. About 200 yards along you turn into
the second set of gates into resort. Drive straight ahead and just as you reach the tennis courts take the right, then right again and follow the road. Our house is number 147 on the right hand side.

Waterford Airport is only one hour away.

It is a 3 bedroom cottage-style self catering holiday home with all mod cons. It can sleep up to 8, (using the bedsetee). All hard wood flooring - easy to keep clean. Bright and spacious and easy to heat. Wardrobes in each room. There is a very spacious master bedroom with en suite shower room. a twin bedroom and a further bedroom with bunk beds. There is pleanty of space in the bunk bedroom for an extra portable bed if needed.

The rear is patioed and enclosed by a small wooden fence, (gate at side to keep the small children in!). The garden funiture seats 6. There is plenty of open green space at rear for children to play. Sun shines all day and evening! There is private parking for two cars at front of house.

Conditions

Security deposit of €200 is required. The deposit will be returned the week after departure subject to examination of house.

A non-refundable down payment to secure booking for a week is €100 and more for booking two weeks+. The remainder will be requred one month in advance of arrival.
