About the home

Located right on the edge of the town centre, 10 minutes walk from the ski lift, 50m walk to the free Bus. We're in a very quiet spot, but still very close to all this great village has to offer.

Chalet Etoile is a comfortable and stylish 2-bedroom apartment, with 2 spacious bedrooms and an open plan living room/dining area leading onto two balconies that make the most of the morning sunshine with views up to the Domes des Miage on Mont Blanc.

We've used all our guests feedback to add the little details that make the apartment feel like home and make all the difference on your holiday.

There's a relaxing bath and dual-shower, plus super comfy beds help you relax.

Forget the usual French worries of poor lighting and no storage space, this is a modern and well thought out design, very warm and welcoming.

Your evening entertainment is taken care of courtesy of our selection of books, board games, and DVDs to accompany the flat screen TV, Wii console and stereo system.

Stylish yet comfy, we have a fully fitted and well equipped kitchen and bathroom, plus HDTV, WiFi, Stereo, DVD, Wii Console and games and a big comfy Sofa. Both bedrooms can be set up as doubles or twins, and the sofa transforms into a big double bed. There is also a cave/ ski locker to store any skis or bikes etc.
We always take our guests comments on board to add those little touches that make all the difference in making You feel at home here.

Covered private parking in our quiet cul-de-sac, off the main road, but only 1 minutes drive away. The free ski bus is only 50m away from the front door.

St Gervais and the Chamonix Valley provide some of the most dramatic surroundings in the world, from the snowy-capped Mont Blanc to the little farming villages and endless wild-life, this is a place of outstanding natural beauty. Summer temperatures reach very warm, but without the pain of stifling temperatures at night. On the foothills of Europe's highest mountain, there are no shortage of activities, from the endless mountain-biking, and walking, to the thermal spas and fantastic restaurants. Just an hour from either Italy or Switzerland, its impossible to find a better location for exploring the Haute-Savoie.

The St Gervais Les Bains area

St Gervais is a pretty little French town with real character and beauty. The baroque church, the outdoor swimming pool and mini-golf, the town square with its open air cafes and brasseries, the stunning gorge running down the centre of the village, this really is an absolute gem.

Just an hour away from Geneva Airport, St Gervais and the surrounding areas are best enjoyed with a car, easy car hire is available at Geneva airport through Europcar, or why not drive your own car out, we are around 8 hours from Calais, you have a private covered parking space. Alternatively come by train and arrive at St-Gervais Le Fayet where buses and taxis are easy and cheap.

“Lovely, spacious apartment in a beautiful town.” Having stayed in lots of ski apartments I was delighted with the spaciousness of Chalet Etolie, even the bath was bigger than usual. The ski bus stopped outside the apartment and went regularly to the betex lift about a mile away. There were two adults and two teenagers in our party and we found the experience most pleasant. The town of St. Gervais is very picturesque with a lovely patisserie on the main street. The apartment is located just as you enter the town from the Geneva side but the ski lift is at the opposite end of town, we hired a car which made things very convenient but one could easily manage without. I am returning again in 2012 so what more can I say! Excellent.
