St Gervais and the Chamonix Valley provide some of the most dramatic surroundings in the world, from the snowy-capped Mont Blanc to the little farming villages and endless wild-life, this is a place of outstanding natural beauty. Summer temperatures reach very warm, but without the pain of stifling temperatures at night. On the foothills of Europe's highest mountain, there are no shortage of activities, from the endless mountain-biking, and walking, to the thermal spas and fantastic restaurants. Just an hour from either Italy or Switzerland, its impossible to find a better location for exploring the Haute-Savoie.
St Gervais Les Bains area
St Gervais is a pretty little French town with real character and beauty. The baroque church, the outdoor swimming pool and mini-golf, the town square with its open air cafes and brasseries, the stunning gorge running down the centre of the village, this really is an absolute gem.
How to get there
Just an hour away from Geneva Airport, St Gervais and the surrounding areas are best enjoyed with a car, easy car hire is available at Geneva airport through Europcar, or why not drive your own car out, we are around 8 hours from Calais, you have a private covered parking space.
