About the home

Villa Jasmine in Agios Georgios is a brand new (July 2009) luxury villa with great views to the sea, the Akamas nature reserve, a private pool, fully air-conditioned and lavishly equipped for you to have a relaxing holiday.
A free 7 Seater Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 car is included in the rental price. This enables you to fully enjoy the nearby Akamas Nature Reserve including Lara Beach and also represents a significant cost saving on your holiday.

The villa is situated on the edge of Agios Georgios village (St George) with easy access to the beach, restaurants, Coral Bay and Paphos. Villa Jasmine is spacious, bright and airy with contemporary style furniture and has everything you would need to accommodate eight people in comfort.

Things to do in the area include Paphos Bird Park, reptile park, horse riding, Akamas Peninsular & Lara Nature Reserve, hiking/walking, buggy safaris, 4 x 4 safaris, sea caves area, sailing and many more. Amusement and water parks in Paphos are also easily accessible from Coral Bay as are numerous archaeological ruins such as the Tombs of the Kings.

The front door of Villa Jasmine opens into the open plan area comprising lounge, dining room and kitchen.
The kitchen is very modern in its design with granite worktops and tiled splashbacks, stainless steel hood and state of the art electric hob. It is well equipped with appliances including a washing machine, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. All other crockery, glassware and utensils are included also.

Between the kitchen and lounge, there is a dining area with large table and eight chairs. The dining area has a door opening out to the outside terrace area and private pool. The terrace is furnished with an outside table and six chairs perfect for relaxing in the shade, a quick dip in the refreshing private pool, alfresco dining and socialising with your party.

The airy lounge area has a three and a two seater sofa and single arm chair all in smart brown leather - perfect for relaxing in front of the 42” plasma television with Satellite and DVD player.

From the lounge, sliding doors open out onto a covered terrace which has shade in the mornings and therefore an ideal area for breakfast. A twin bedroom with wardrobes and adjacent shower room completes the ground floor.

Upstairs, the landing leads to three good-sized bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and en-suite shower-room with doors leading out to the balcony with table, chairs and stunning views across the fields to the sea at Agios Georgious in one direction and across the landscaped gardens, the private pool and to the nearby Akamas Nature reserve in the other. The perfect place to enjoy a leisurely coffee or your favourite aperitif at sunset.

There are two further bedrooms, one double and one twin. Both are bright, airy rooms with wardrobes. A family bathroom and a shower room complete the upstairs areas.

The villa is fully air-conditioned throughout with central heating available for those cooler off-season evenings meaning that Villa Jasmine can be enjoyed all year round.

Villa Jasmine in Agios Georgios is an attractive villa with feature balustrades and pillars on the front.
The villa is well enclosed with fencing for privacy and is accessed by gates into the driveway which then leads to the front of the villa.

The enclosed and landscaped gardens include a very attractive private pool which has a main area of 10m x 4m with separate shallow area of 2m x 4m which is great for smaller children as well as cooling off under the waterfall feature.

The surrounding terrace is well equipped with sun loungers, parasols and table and chairs as well as BBQ making it the perfect setting to make the most of your Cyprus Holiday Villa.

**Please note that this property can be accessed at any time after 3pm on the day of arrival so need to worry about late flights. There is a keysafe which we provide a code for. We can arrange taxi transfer by our own driver who knows where the property is and assist with car hire from the airport if desired. The property is professionally managed (you will always have a contact) and has linen changes and cleaning on a weekly basis. Air-Conditioning is included in the rental price as is a welcome pack of basic essentials and wine for your arrival.**

The Paphos region

Birthplace of Aphrodite and in Roman times the capital of Cyprus, Paphos is one of the most beautiful and ancient towns of Cyprus and is situated on the southwest coast. Sheltered from the north by the Troodos Mountains, it has the healthiest climate in the Mediterranean. Paphos Harbour with it's ancient castle, marine and water sports centres, is lined with colourful restaurants serving fresh fish and marine delicacies. Nearby are archaeological sites, rich with antiquities, providing an interest away from the usual - in fact UNESCO has included Paphos on it's World Cultural Heritage List.

If you want to get out and explore some fantastic scenery, take a trip to the Akamas, Polis, Latchi or even Troodos mountains. The Akamas is an untouched part of Cyprus with unspoilt coastline and traditional fish taverns in stunning seaside locations. Troodos is of course the main mountain range in Cyprus, not many people know that in the winter....you can ski!

The St George area

Agios Georgios (St George) Area

The village of Agios Georgios is walking distance from the villa with a number of traditional tavernas serving BBQ'd meat, fish and local dishes of the highest quality. This includes a fabulous fish restaurant which overlooks Agios Georgios’ picturesque fishing port, bird sanctuary and the sea.

You’re only a five to seven minute drive from Coral Bay, Peyia village and twenty minutes into Paphos town.

The newly opened Philippous supermarket on the edge of Coral Bay means locally produced meat and vegetables as well as other usual conveniences can be purchased with just a five minute drive. Easy access can be gained to the beautifully traditional village of Kathikas and you can also easily reach Polis and Latchi on the other side of the Akamas.

The beach and coastline at Agios Georgios can be walked to easily (distance 700m) with a choice of routes and areas of coastline to enjoy. The monastery at Agios Georgios is beautifully architectured and is always a draw for visitors to the area. There is also a small archaeological park to explore.

Buses travel all around Paphos and surrounding villages. The current deal of a day pass is 2 euros making this a great value way to see around the area.

"The property was excellent - very clean, spacious and comfortable. The car was necessary but we were also able to get a taxi for 6 people into Coral Bay, (be prepared to haggle as we were originally quoted 20 euros each way, which was quickly amended to 15 euros, which was quite reasonable). Sunset Cafe was literrally 200 metres up the road and we visited several times. Very friendly local staff and excellent food. Coral King restaurant in Coral Bay was also excellent. The Last Castle restaurant, which is only a few kilometres along the Lara road, most of the road being a dirt track, is not to be missed. They only do barbecue pork or chicken, but the food is excellent and the views incredible!! A visit over the mountain road to Latsi (near Polis) is well worth it. There are spectacular views on this road and Latsi itself has a lovely bay.Alex was always available when there was a problem (the car had a flat battery one day and he attended to this to our satisfaction, also, when brought to his attention that the waterfall feature was not working in the swimming pool, Alex sourced new parts and had it fixed as soon as was possible). We would have no hesitation in booking through LetsRentOnline again''.

"We all enjoyed our stay at Villa Jasmine, the property was just as we imagined, everything worked perfectly and the rural location enabled us to have a relaxing holiday. The short walk to the local restaurants where we found the hospitality, choice of menu and prices an attractive alternative to the drive to Coral Bay. When we did venture out the Toyota people carrier easily coped with the six of us - all adults, and on the one occasion it failed to start one phone to Alex quickly had the problem resolved. In short, everyone involved, including the friendly taxi driver you arranged to meet us at the airport helped us to have a wonderful time - thank you all very much. We will certainly consider visiting Cyprus again and LetsRentOnline for villa rental. Best regards, David & Anne Roberts & Family

"The property was as described on the site, Alex ( the owner) lived next door & often popped in to ensure everything was ok, he was most helpful with directions or any other information we required. The company who rent the place where extremely helpful also, arranging transfers for us. All in all we could not fault anything about the property, it was beautiful & set in a lovely quiet location with a taverna a few minutes walk away. The car was necessary as there are no shops nearby. The property has everthing you need to live as you would live at home with the bonus of a beautiful pool. Thank you for a wonderful holiday "

"We stayed as a family of 6 in this villa in early April. The villa is situated in a quiet residentail area that is ideal for families. The harbour is within walking distance, and there are 5 bars/ hotels also close by.The villa is very spacious and modern, and the owner who lives next door is very helpful should you need him. The villa comes with a 4 Wheel drive which we found very useful for both exploring the national park area and also for shopping trips into Paphos."

"We stayed in Villa Jasmine for 10 nights in early October. The villa is beautiful and comfortably accommodated the 7 of us. The kids played in the pool every day and the 7 seat landcruiser became our friend in days out and trips to Paphos harbour for ice-cream. The area around the villa is very peaceful and quiet. Alex, the owner, was next door and extremely helpful and approachable. He kindly lent us DVDs and table tennis equipment. The broadband situation mentioned in a previous review had been rectified and worked well. The taxi driver who transferred us to and from the airport was very nice and 50 Euros seemed reasonable for the 7 of us. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay"

"We all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Villa Jasmine, a very comfortable and spacious property. The kids all made the most of the pool pool lights meant we could use it at night as well. A good pool was necessary as the nearby beach wasnt very nice, but then it is easy enough to drive to the beach at Coral Bay. Having a large car included with the villa was fantastic and was very useful and being a four-wheel drive meant we could take a trek through the Akamas which was very enjoyable. There was a helpful neighbour who cleaned the pool and answered any questions and the villa owner next door very kindly lent us loads of dvds which kept everyone entertained when it rained occasionally. We would definitely recommend Villa Jasmine."
