Ancient, modernised centre village house in the Upper Lot Valley on three levels. Two small bedrooms, one double bedroom, kitchen/dining room, lounge. NOT suitable small children due to steep staircases. Artist/Owner runs decorative painting courses in nearby village (contact me for fees).
Handmade jewellery courses also possible - subject to availability. This area is famed for its outstanding natural beauty, its mountains, lakes and rushing mountain streams, its wildflower heritage and medieval villages. Nearby St Geniez - 2 kms, has large supermarket and Saturday market in the cloisters. Many summer attractions, fairs, nocturnal markets, open air concerts, art and photography exhibitions.

Small village house on three levels. Not suitable for small children due steep staircases.
A charming old village house which has been modernized sympathetically. Lovely walks in the village and by the river. There are cafés, restaurants and a bakery in the village centre.

Free parking available in public car park behind the property. Plenty of picnic areas for outdoor eating within easy walking reach. Small public courtyard behind the property where you can also put a picnic table for outdoor eating and drinks.
The Midi-Pyrenees region
Ste Eulalie d'Olt is a mediaeval village in the Upper Lot Valley on the site of an ancient Roman settlement on the banks of the River Lot. The charming narrow streets filled with flowers run alongside rushing streams and open out onto pretty cobbled squares where there are cafés, a baker and a local shop.
The tourist office situated in a craft centre 'Ste Eulalie d'Art' offers full details and leaflets with local events and places of interest. The property owner, an artist with nearby boutique offers painted furniture courses (please ask for combined rate) and hand made jewelry courses are also available subject to availability.
St. Geniez d'Olt
The tourist office located in the cloisters has a full list of the many summer activities available, these include nocturnal markets animated by a craft fair in the cloisters and free outdoor concerts. You can buy hot and cold prepared dishes and eat them at the tables specially provided by the mairie.
There is a tango festival and the 'transhumance' festival which marks the event of the cattle being led back up to the high mountain plateaux for the summer. The cows are decorated with bells and flowers and led through the streets. There is a music festival, art and photography exhibitions and many others.
Within an easy car journey are the Spectacular Tarn Gorges, the famous Viaduct at Millau, the Château of Giscard d'Estaing at Estaing, and many other fascinating places to visit.
