Visit the abandoned village of Covatières, the scenic village of Montgellafrey with typical houses and a bread oven that is still in service. “The Baroque Trails” take you to Baroque churches in the Maurienne, Tarentaise and Beaufortain Valleys over more than 500 km. “The Strong Stones of Savoy”, fortified sites that once guarded mountain borders, will impress you with their majesty and unique natural settings. The more curious among you will be interested in the Opinel Museum, to learn about the famous knife’s history.

A6 Motorway, then A43 to “La Chambre” (Exit No 26). At the Madeleine junction, take the CD213 towards Saint-François-Longchamp (15 km).
