Port Elizabeth (PE ) is a medium-size city in South Africa - with many safe swimming beaches It has an upmarket economy with the Volkswagen motor vehicle factory situated close by Located near the dry Karoo area -- which has lots of historical places to visit - true African wide open space . Generally speaking - has a sunny and warm climate. There are several Game/Wild Life Reserves in the area -- with Game viewing and playing with baby lions PE is the beginning of the famous Cape Garden Route - past Plettenberg Bay to Cape Town
St Francis Bay area
St Francis Bay -- is a small village town situated on the sea and a clean river / lagoon mouth - It is one of the up-market holiday spots in South Africa - with a quiet but vibrant atmosphere - Most of the houses are holiday houses - there is a sea Port for fishing boats There are many restaurants and the shopping area is up market -- ( Malaria Free Area ! ) There are 2 great golf courses -- One newly built golf estate - designed by Jack Nicklaus . Great surfing spots and swimming beaches for those who love the sea many nature walks for those who love nature and wild life -- good fishing from surf and boats

Fly to Port Elizabeth - Eastern Cape --120km from St Francis Bay = Easy flight from Johannesburg / Cape Town - or any other part of South Africa Hire a car at the airport - very easy and efficient - use Credit Cards -- just like home - ( drive on left hand side of road ) -- or make arrangements with house owner in South Africa Very easy drive on open roads and motor-ways - not much traffic - this is Africa .
Eastern Cape - is a Malaria free area -- and great for Health .
