Santo Estevão is a small villa, with some restaurants, and quiet in the evenings. This province Ribatejo is well known for its tradition regarding bull-fights and horses. Tiny farms and patchwork fields through eucalyptus and cork forests. In early November a visit to the Golegã Lusitanian festival, may be included.

At Santo Estêvão Vila, with all its equestrian sports, you will find an ideal place for resting in open air,under a blue sunny sky. Close to our place, 5 minutes a golf course,ten minutes another one.Half an hour a beach where one can very easily practice kate surf.ideal place in Coruche,half an hour distant to fishing.Fantastic moonlights and swiming nights in the swiming pool.Very pleasant temperatures during Summer or Winter.

Each night is in comfortable accommodation at the ride base, with swimming pool and gardens.

This farm is provided with Polo and jumping fields, as well as a covered manages for dressage. The horses are stabled in the farm base. Breakfast and lunch are included on the first and last nights, with other nights at your own expense at Restaurants close to the area or to Lisbon.

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region

Costa de Lisboa, on the south west coast, offers an impressive and rich diversity. The train journey drives along the Atlantic coast where you can enjoy a variety of beautiful beaches where you can catch the sun. The Main stops at Oeiras, Carcavelos, Estoril (where the famous European Casino is) and Cascais (where several European Kings lived in exile).

In Cascais you can: play golf, sail, ride horses, windsurf, row, ride a bicycle among other sports.
Near Cascais is Sintra (world heritage) with its fabulous Pena Palace (1839), the Moors Castle, Quinta da Regaleira, Capuchos Convent, Monserrate Palace etc.

St Estevao / Benavente area

Santo Estevão is a small village quite typical and with a very easy life, though quite close to Lisbon, where
lots of families come to spend holidays and week ends. The good weather and horse activities for the children are some of the draw cards.

There are always events regarding horses such as show jumping, polo games, carriages or simply riding in the area. Distant 30 km there is a free-port with all the international well-known shops with very low prices, as well as lots of restaurants and cinemas.5 km further,another big shopping centre with different but also very interesting offer. Close to the farm (10m, a golf course) and two more in the area surrounding my farm.

How to get there

By any international flight company to Lisbon. The distance from our place to the International Airport of Lisbon is 50 km.Recomended Avis rent a car and Touris car and talk to mrs.Carmen ,contact-+35191378o493.These companies are almost at every airport.You also can get to the city of Porto airport on a low cost company,hire a a car ,drive freeway A1 ,get to Benavente and then S.Estevão.
